Titrating used vegetable oil is necessary to determine the exact amount of base catalyst (KOH or NaOH) required for the biodiesel reaction. Too little catalyst will result in unreacted trigylcerides in your biodiesel where as too much catalyst will cause increased amounts of soap and impurities. These titration kits include everything required, including simple to use instructions, to titrate your used/waste vegetable oil.
