BD150 includes the following:

• 200L graduated, polyethylene reaction vessel,
• 60L graduated, polyethylene methanol/KOH mixing vessel,
• 240V 2400W electronically controlled immersion heater contained within the reaction vessel (low density for use with biodiesel),
• Option of 240V gear pump or 240V Rotary Vane Pump with cutoff timer,
• All plumbing and valves,
• Galvanised steel frame (some assembly required).

The Scintex BD150 Producer is a simple to use, all in one biodiesel generating unit. Designed with the average user in mind, it makes it easy for small scale production of quality biodiesel to take place in your home garage.

The BD150 allows users to load filtered waste vegetable oil directly into the processor using the on skid pump. Simply line up the correct valves and make use of the supplied loading line.

Heating your oil is simple with the Scintex BD150 Producer as the thermostatically controlled heating element is located within the reactor. This saves dangerous transfer operations while loading hot oil into your reactor and does away with slow band heaters!

The Scintex reaction vessels are specifically design for Biodiesel production and will last many years of operation around hot chemicals. They feature a conical bottom tank design which ensures excellent separation of the glycerol layer.

Mixing of methoxide and oil is timer controlled so once you start the process, there's no need to hang around. Simply start mixing timer and return 24hrs later to find your biodiesel/glycerol already separated. Now that's simple!
