These are extremely high powered 12v or 24v macerator pumps capable of handling dirty fluids. They're designed not only with heavy duty over-engineered shaft seals, but also upgraded knife cutting blade and brass/rubber impeller which ensures reliable and trouble free performance. These pumps are rated to move 45 LPM making them fast and up for the challenging tasks.

These pumps feature high quality motors capable of high torque operation when compared to other models on the market. The motor winding's have been upgraded to make this one of the best and most powerful units we've had the pleasure to offer. The pump also features a port into the motor where users can fit a flat head screw driver and turn the motor over manually to help clear blockages in situations where the motor can't. 

Macerator pumps are ideal for installation on boats in fish bins and kill tanks where the fluid isn't always clean and free of solids. The macerating action chops through the bits and continues to pump the juices out to the sea. These pumps have a seamless outer casing which has been design with the salt water environment in mind and the motor is triple sealed for splash and wash down environments. 

Note, macerator pumps should not be left to run dry where possible. Dry running will cause the internal impeller to rub inside the pump casing increasing the load and eventually overheating the pump. A nice feature of these macerator pumps is they come standard with thermal overload protection on the motor which helps to protect the motor from being damaged in such situations. The thermal protection will only kick in after a period of dry running meaning the pump can still self prime from dry service without problem.

New Model - Macerator Pump with Flush Port

Now available is a new model with a flush port amongst other upgrades. The flush port allows the user to connect a garden hose and flush the pump both forward and backwards into the toilet helping to reduce blockages and long term debris collection.

This model also features a large manual grip handle at the rear of the motor so if the pump was to jam and blow a fuse or trip a breaker while at sea, the user can manually reach to the rear of the pump and turn the impeller by hand without opening the pump and exposing themselves to the contents. This is great for tight access installations where getting a screw driver to the same location on the conventional pump design isn't possible.

Note this pump is designed to connect directly to 3" RV tank outlets using the 4 prong bayonet system or to Valterra bayonet couplings. We can supply the Valterra adaptor that allows for a 3" hose to be easily connected.
