Description
The Scintex Series X-1 Cattle Scales are heavy-duty livestock weighing scales designed for cattle crushes, cradles, yards and a wide range of agricultural weighing applications. With a capacity of up to 3,000kg, multiple weigh-beam lengths and a rugged stainless steel digital display, the system is built for reliable use in demanding farm environments.
Each kit includes 2 weigh beams, digital indicator, heavy-duty 5m leads, charger and protective carry case. The scales are supplied factory calibrated and can also be recalibrated on-site by the user if required.

Heavy-Duty Livestock Weighing
The Scintex Series X-1 weigh beam system is designed for weighing cattle and other livestock in crushes, crates and platforms. The same system can also be adapted for general weighing applications such as tanks, hoppers, pallets and other static loads.
The beams can be permanently installed or used as a portable weighing system, making them suitable for both fixed yards and mobile farm setups.
Choose the Right Beam Length
Four beam lengths are available to suit different cattle crushes, platforms and weighing applications:
- 60cm
- 80cm
- 100cm
- 120cm
Select the beam length to suit the mounting points and footprint of the crush, platform or equipment being weighed.
Factory Calibrated & User Adjustable
Every Scintex cattle scale is supplied factory calibrated and ready to use.
If recalibration is ever required, the calibration settings remain accessible to the user. Detailed instructions allow the system to be recalibrated on-site rather than automatically requiring return to a service centre.
Scintex also provides a dedicated scale calibration and repair service.
Stainless Steel Digital Indicator
The Series X-1 digital indicator is housed in a durable stainless steel enclosure with sealed construction suited to dusty and wet farm environments.
A removable stainless mounting foot allows the indicator to be mounted near the crush or removed when transporting and storing the system.
The large 31mm display features a backlit background to make readings easier to see from a distance and in changing light conditions.
Battery or 240V Operation
The indicator can operate from its internal rechargeable 6V battery for portable use or be connected to 240V mains power for continuous operation.
A battery charger is included with the kit.
Heavy-Duty Leads & Connectors
The weigh beams are supplied with 5m heavy-duty leads designed for demanding livestock-yard environments.
Quality sealed connectors help reduce dust and moisture ingress, while the robust cable construction provides additional protection against everyday knocks and compression.
Protective Carry Case Included
The indicator, charger and leads are supplied in a hard protective carry case with foam inserts.
This makes it easier to transport the sensitive components between properties, yards and vehicles while keeping them organised when not in use.
Weigh Beam Mounting
Each weigh beam includes mounting points at either end so the system can be secured beneath a suitable cattle crush, crate or weighing platform.

Important: These are heavy-duty steel weigh beams and are correspondingly heavy. Ensure beams are correctly supported and mounted on a stable, level foundation. For best weighing accuracy, avoid binding or side-loading the beams and confirm the complete installation is free to load vertically through the load cells.
