12V & 24V Diesel Transfer Pump Kit – 40 L/min

This portable diesel transfer pump kit provides a convenient solution for transferring diesel in agricultural, construction, workshop and mobile refuelling applications.

Available in 12V and 24V versions, the pump uses a self-priming rotary vane design capable of delivering up to 40 L/min. The compact steel mounting frame makes the unit easy to position and transport, while the supplied accessories provide the components required to configure a practical diesel transfer system.

Portable Diesel Transfer

The compact design makes this pump kit well suited to transferring diesel where a fixed 240V pumping system is not practical. Power can be supplied from a suitable 12V or 24V DC electrical system depending on the model selected.

Typical applications include transferring diesel from drums and storage tanks into agricultural machinery, construction equipment, generators and other diesel-powered equipment.

40 L/min Rotary Vane Pump

The self-priming rotary vane pump delivers up to 40 L/min and incorporates an internal bypass valve. Both the 12V and 24V versions provide the same rated flow performance.

The pump has 3/4" BSP female inlet and outlet connections and uses NBR seals suitable for the specified diesel fuel application.

Supplied Hose & Accessories

The kit includes a single 4m length of 3/4" hose with hose tails. This allows the hose to be cut and configured into suitable suction and delivery lengths for the installation.

A suction foot strainer is included to help prevent larger contaminants entering the pump, while the manual dispensing nozzle provides convenient control during fuel transfer.

Diesel Fuel Compatibility

This pump is designed for transferring diesel fuel with a viscosity between 2 and 5.35 cSt at 37.8°C and a minimum flash point of 55°C.

Do not use this pump with:

• Petrol / gasoline
• Flammable liquids with a flash point below 55°C
• Liquids with viscosity greater than 20 cSt
• Water
• Food liquids
• Corrosive chemical products
• Solvents

30-Minute Duty Cycle

The pump is designed for intermittent operation. Each operating cycle should be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute power-off cooling period before further operation.

Extended operation beyond the specified duty cycle can cause excessive motor temperature and may result in motor damage.

Priming & Operation

During initial priming, the pump must evacuate air from the suction and delivery system. Keep the outlet open during priming to allow trapped air to escape.

Always ensure the suction connections are properly sealed to prevent air leaks that could affect priming and pumping performance.
