Biofuels

Scintex has a strong foundation in the biofuel industry and has been a supplier of biodiesel products and biofuel conversion accessories since 2008. Our oil to biodiesel conversion processors are made in our Brisbane workshop and have been sold all over the world. We also have a strong offering in biodiesel purification and filtering. Scintex developed SiliWash dry wash to compete with the likes of Magnesol. It acts as a great fuel polishing additive that quickly adsorbs impurities and then can be quickly and easily removed by filtration. We have many filtration options ranging from stainless steel filter housings which take a polypropylene filter sock through to water absorbing biodiesel and diesel filters which can be used on vehicle. Analysis of the feedstock oil can be done with our highly accurate titration kits which will aid in biodiesel production and reduce time and costs associated with the final polishing treatment. For customers opting for a vehicle conversion to run on straight vegetable oil Scintex can supply fuel and oil tanks, fuel change over valves as well as onboard biofuel pumps and filters.

Biofuels are renewable fuels produced from biological materials such as vegetable oils, animal fats and plant-based feedstocks.
Equipment must be compatible with the specific biofuel and its chemical properties to ensure reliable operation.
Biofuels require suitable storage conditions to minimise contamination, oxidation and water absorption.
Clean fuel helps protect pumps, injectors and other precision fuel system components.
Check equipment compatibility, fuel quality requirements and the manufacturer's recommendations.

it is a good pump when working but we had a previous one and the switch gave out after 2 mths and wouldnt work should have got a new one replaced under warranty but never did

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
