Description
The Sherpa 4x4 Recovery Ring & Soft Shackle Bundle combines a lightweight aluminium recovery ring with a high-strength synthetic soft shackle for use with compatible synthetic winch ropes.
The recovery ring is rated to a 10,000kg Working Load Limit (WLL) and suits synthetic winch ropes from 8–22mm diameter. The included 10mm Sherpa soft shackle has a 15,909kg Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS).
Sherpa 4x4 Recovery Ring & Soft Shackle Bundle
A lightweight alternative to a traditional recovery pulley or snatch block, the Sherpa recovery ring can be used to redirect a synthetic winch line or configure a double-line winching setup.
The recovery ring is designed specifically for use with synthetic winch rope and a compatible soft shackle. It is not suitable for steel winch cable.
Sherpa Recovery Ring
Manufactured from precision-machined 6061 aluminium, the Sherpa recovery ring combines high strength with low weight. A hard anodised surface provides additional wear protection where the synthetic rope travels around the ring.

Double-Line Winching
When correctly configured in a double-line pull, the recovery ring can provide mechanical advantage and reduce the load carried by each section of the winch line. This can assist during higher-load recoveries, although line speed is correspondingly reduced.
Always consider the ratings and configuration of the complete recovery system, including the winch, rope, recovery points, soft shackle and any other components.
Sherpa Soft Shackle
The included Sherpa soft shackle is manufactured from synthetic rope using genuine USA Spectra® fibre and includes a protective sleeve.

Important: The soft shackle's 15,909kg rating is its Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS). This is not a Working Load Limit and should not be interpreted as the allowable working load of the complete recovery system.

Recovery Safety
Use only with suitably rated recovery equipment and recovery points. Inspect the recovery ring, synthetic winch rope and soft shackle before each use and replace any component showing damage, excessive wear, cuts or abrasion.
Ensure all components in the recovery system are suitable for the intended load and configuration. Never exceed the Working Load Limit of the lowest-rated component in the system.
