Description

The Paddock 350L Cement Concrete Mixer is a heavy duty trade and construction mixer designed for larger concrete, mortar and masonry jobs. Available with either a genuine Honda GX160 petrol engine or a commercial diesel engine, these mixers combine a large 350L drum with rugged construction for demanding site use.

With a practical mix batch capacity of approximately 260L, heavy duty cast steel ring gear and replaceable internal mixing components, the Paddock mixer is well suited to contractors, builders, bricklayers, councils and equipment hire fleets.

  • Approx. 260L working batch capacity
  • Petrol or diesel engine options
  • Genuine Honda GX160 petrol engine available

  • Large tipping wheel for controlled discharge
  • Heavy duty wheels for easier site relocation

Built for Larger Concrete Mixing Jobs

When job sizes increase, a larger mixer can significantly improve productivity by reducing the number of batches required.

The Paddock 350L mixer offers a total drum volume of approximately 350L with a practical working batch volume of around 260L.

This makes it well suited to applications such as:

  • Concrete mixing
  • Mortar preparation
  • Block work
  • Bricklaying
  • Paths and walkways
  • Driveways
  • Kerbs and gutters
  • Construction sites
  • Commercial building work
  • Hire and rental fleets

Petrol or Diesel Engine Options

The mixer is available with two engine configurations to suit different users and operating environments.

SCM350P Petrol: Powered by a genuine Honda GX160 4-stroke commercial engine producing up to approximately 5.5HP.

SCM350D Diesel: Powered by a 178-series commercial diesel engine producing up to approximately 6.0HP.

The petrol model is an excellent general-purpose choice where genuine Honda reliability and easy servicing are priorities, while the diesel model may suit sites where diesel fuel is already used across other machinery and equipment.

Genuine Honda GX160 Petrol Option

The SCM350P uses the well-proven Honda GX160 commercial 4-stroke engine.

Honda GX engines are widely used throughout construction, agricultural and hire equipment due to their reliable starting, strong parts availability and proven durability.

The recoil start system keeps operation straightforward without the need for a starting battery.

Commercial Diesel Option

The SCM350D provides a diesel-powered alternative for users who prefer the fuel economy and convenience of running the same fuel as other construction or agricultural machinery.

The commercial 178-series engine produces approximately 6HP and uses a simple recoil starting arrangement.

Heavy Duty Drum & Ring Gear

The mixer is fitted with a heavy duty cast steel ring gear designed to withstand regular site operation.

The large mixing drum includes replaceable internal mixing arms, allowing common wear components to be serviced rather than requiring replacement of the complete drum assembly.

This is particularly useful for trade and hire applications where equipment may accumulate high operating hours.

350L Drum vs 260L Batch Capacity

The mixer has a total drum volume of approximately 350L / 12.2 cu.ft.

The recommended working batch volume is approximately 260L / 9.1 cu.ft.

The difference between total drum capacity and usable batch capacity provides the space required for materials to tumble and mix effectively without overloading the machine.

Rigid & Stable Frame

The mixer is built around a heavy duty steel frame designed to provide stability while mixing and discharging heavy batches.

Large wheels assist with relocation around the work site, while the large tipping wheel gives the operator greater control when rotating the drum for discharge.

Designed for Trade & Hire Use

Paddock construction equipment is designed with professional users in mind. Heavy duty components, serviceable wear parts and simple mechanical systems make these mixers suitable for demanding environments where reliability is important.

Typical users include:

  • Equipment hire and rental businesses
  • Concrete contractors
  • Bricklayers
  • Builders
  • Landscapers
  • Councils and shires
  • Construction companies
  • Rural and agricultural users

Petrol or Diesel - Which Mixer Should I Choose?

Choose the Honda petrol model if:

  • You prefer genuine Honda commercial engine reliability
  • Petrol is readily available on your site
  • You want broad access to Honda servicing and spare parts
  • You require a proven general-purpose construction mixer

Choose the diesel model if:

  • Your site or farm primarily uses diesel fuel
  • You want to minimise the number of fuel types stored on site
  • You prefer a diesel-powered equipment fleet

Maintenance

Routine maintenance will help maximise mixer service life.

  • Clean concrete residue from the drum after each use
  • Inspect and lubricate moving components as required
  • Check ring gear condition regularly
  • Inspect mixing arms and replace worn components when required
  • Check wheel and frame fasteners
  • Maintain the engine according to the manufacturer's service schedule
  • Check engine oil before operation

Important Initial Setup

Engine oil must be checked and filled to the correct level before first use. Engines are stored and transported with only enough oil to provide protection during shipping and should not be started until the correct oil level has been confirmed.

Some minor assembly is required before operation due to the way the mixer is packed for storage and transport.

Money well spent

Can't rate this highly enough. I bought the electric as I need it for indoor and outdoor use. This mixer paid for itself in a week. It is simple and tough. I'm tempted to buy a diesel as well since I'm getting enough use indoors and outdoors to justify having a second. I was able to fit it on the back of my ute to collect (just) and assembly was easy. I have not been kind to this mixer, but it shows no signs of failing me.
