Description
The Paddock™ Engine Drive Unit provides a versatile power source for compatible flexible-drive submersible pumps and concrete vibrators. Built around a heavy-duty steel frame and 50mm (2") 3-claw dog coupling, one drive unit can be used with multiple compatible Paddock attachments.
Choose from the Honda GX160 petrol, YANMAR L48N6 diesel or KAMA KM170F diesel engine options to suit your application.
Paddock™ Petrol & Diesel Engine Drive Units
The Paddock™ Engine Drive Unit is designed to power compatible Paddock 50mm flexible-drive submersible pumps and concrete vibrators. The common drive system allows operators to change between compatible attachments rather than requiring a separate engine for each application.
A heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame and base plate protect the engine and make the unit easier to carry and position around worksites. Rubber mounting feet help isolate vibration during operation.
Key Features
- Honda GX160 petrol, YANMAR L48N6 diesel or KAMA KM170F diesel options
- Suitable for compatible Paddock flexible-drive submersible pumps
- Suitable for compatible Paddock concrete vibrator assemblies
- 50mm (2") heavy-duty 3-claw dog coupling
- Quick-action coupling system for changing compatible attachments
- Heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame and base plate
- Integrated carry handles
- Rubber mounting feet
- Recoil start
- Compact portable design for construction and site applications
One Drive Unit, Multiple Applications
The 50mm (2") 3-claw dog coupling allows the engine drive unit to be connected to compatible flexible-drive equipment. This makes the system particularly useful where both pumping and concrete vibration equipment are required on the same worksite.
- Submersible pump attachment – for compatible flexible-drive pumping applications
- Concrete vibrator attachment – for powering compatible flexible-shaft concrete vibrator assemblies
Always confirm the attachment and coupling are compatible with the selected drive unit before operation.

Service & Operation
Carry out routine engine servicing and maintenance in accordance with the applicable engine manufacturer's instructions. Inspect the drive coupling, frame, mounting points and connected flexible-drive equipment before operation.
Important: Engines may be stored and transported with only sufficient oil for storage and protection. Check the engine oil level and add the correct engine oil as required before starting. Do not operate the engine without the correct oil level.
Only connect or disconnect flexible-drive attachments with the engine switched off and the drive completely stopped. Ensure the coupling is correctly engaged and secured before starting the engine.
Operate petrol and diesel engines only in adequately ventilated outdoor areas and keep exhaust gases away from enclosed or occupied spaces.
