Heavy-Duty Auger Driver
Paddock™ auger drivers combine a robust reduction gearbox with a genuine Honda GX50 commercial 4-stroke petrol engine. This combination provides a compact and dependable power source for drilling post holes across farms, acreage properties, construction sites and landscaping projects.
The Honda GX50 is designed for demanding commercial applications while remaining compact and relatively lightweight. Its 4-stroke configuration eliminates the need to mix petrol and oil, while recoil starting makes operation straightforward in remote locations.
The heavy-duty reduction gearbox uses a 28mm 6-spline output shaft, providing a strong connection between the drive unit and auger. A spline-to-pin adaptor is included with both models.
SPCONE010 One-Person Post Hole Auger
The SPCONE010 is designed specifically for single-person operation and provides a versatile solution for general fencing and property maintenance. It is suitable for 100mm, 200mm and 300mm augers and uses a 29:1 reduction gearbox.
Its compact configuration makes it a practical choice for users regularly installing fence posts, planting trees or completing general earth drilling work where larger machinery is unnecessary or difficult to access.
SPCONE020 One or Two-Person Post Hole Auger
The SPCONE020 can be operated by a single operator but is ideally suited to two-person operation. The wider dual-grip handle arrangement provides additional control, particularly when using larger augers or working in more demanding ground conditions.
A 25:1 reduction gearbox allows the SPCONE020 to operate augers from 100mm through to 400mm in diameter. Having two operators can provide greater control when drilling larger diameter holes and dealing with changing ground conditions.
Auger Sizes & Options
Augers are available separately in 100mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm diameters. The SPCONE010 is suitable for augers up to 300mm, while the SPCONE020 can accommodate augers up to 400mm.
Different auger diameters allow the machine to be configured for a range of applications, from smaller fence posts through to larger strainer posts and landscaping holes. Auger extensions are also available for applications requiring additional drilling depth.

Important: Auger performance will vary depending on auger diameter and ground conditions. Hard, rocky, highly compacted or root-filled ground may significantly affect drilling performance.
