Paddock Motorised Power Wheel Barrow & Mini Dumper
Move Heavy Loads with Less Manual Effort
The Paddock Power Barrow combines the compact size of a wheelbarrow with powered 4WD traction and a 300kg carrying capacity.
Its narrow footprint allows access through gates, pathways and many building sites where larger loaders and dumpers cannot operate, making it useful for transporting materials over short distances and across uneven ground.
Petrol or Electric Models
Two drive options are available:
- Petrol Model: Briggs & Stratton 5.5HP 4-stroke engine with Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transmission.
- Electric Model: 48V brushless motor with battery power for quieter operation and zero exhaust emissions at the machine.
Both versions provide 4-wheel drive, forward and reverse operation, a 300kg carrying capacity and a maximum stated climb angle of 20° when loaded to capacity.
4-Wheel Drive Traction
The Paddock Power Barrow drives all four wheels to provide useful traction on gravel, grass, building sites and uneven property terrain.
Its low centre of mass and compact wheelbase help the operator manoeuvre around confined work areas while carrying heavy materials.
300kg Capacity & 170L Tub
The standard machine includes a 170L / 6cu.ft galvanised steel tub rated to carry loads up to 300kg.
The tub is suitable for transporting materials such as:
- Soil and fill
- Concrete and cement products
- Rock and gravel
- Mulch and landscaping materials
- Bricks and building materials
- Feed and farm supplies
- Fruit and vegetables
Briggs & Stratton Petrol Model
The petrol model uses a Briggs & Stratton 750EX Series 4-stroke petrol engine producing approximately 5.5HP.
Recoil starting keeps the engine system simple, while the open engine layout makes routine servicing, refuelling and maintenance straightforward.
Hydro-Gear Hydrostatic Transmission
The petrol model uses a USA-built Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transmission with forward and reverse operation.
The hydrostatic system provides smooth, stepless speed adjustment without conventional gear changes. This allows the operator to travel faster across open ground or slow the machine down for tighter manoeuvring and controlled movement.
48V Electric Brushless Model
The electric model uses a 48V / 500W brushless motor and is designed for applications where low noise and the absence of engine exhaust are important.
It can travel at speeds up to approximately 5km/h and is supplied with a smart battery charger.
Run time is stated at up to 8 hours, depending on load, terrain, speed and operating conditions.
Compact for Tight Access
At approximately 780mm wide, the power barrow can access many areas that larger loaders, skid steers and dumpers cannot.
This makes it particularly useful for:
- Building sites
- Landscaping
- Concreting
- Farms
- Gardens and acreage
- Mining and industrial sites
- Material handling through gates and narrow access areas
Optional Accessories
Every Paddock Power Barrow is supplied with the standard galvanised tub. Additional attachments are available to adapt the machine for other jobs.
Flat Bed
The standard bucket can be removed and replaced with a flat bed for carrying bags of feed, hay, timber, steel and other bulky items.
Blade / Plough
A front-mounted blade can be fitted without removing the tub. The blade angle can be adjusted up to approximately 45° left or right for moving loose materials, levelling fill and other suitable pushing applications.
50mm / 2" Tow Ball & Hitch
An optional hitch can be fitted for positioning suitable trailers and other equipment within the operating limits of the machine.

Service & Maintenance
Regular inspection and maintenance will help keep the Paddock Power Barrow operating reliably. Service intervals can vary depending on workload, dust, temperature and operating conditions.
| Service Item | Indicative Interval |
|---|---|
| Engine Oil | Initial change after approximately 5hrs, then every 10–15hrs or as specified by engine manual |
| Gearbox | Sealed unit – inspect as required |
| Differential | Sealed unit – inspect as required |
| Chains | Inspect and lubricate every 10–15hrs |
| Air Filter | Inspect regularly; service interval depends on operating environment |
| Tyre Pressure | Check before use |
| Brake / Cables | Inspect and adjust periodically |
| Belt Tension | Inspect periodically and replace if worn |
| Spark Plug | Inspect as specified by engine manual |
Assembly & Pre-Start
Minor assembly is required before first use.
Important: Petrol engines are transported with only sufficient oil for storage and protection. Engine oil must be checked and filled to the correct level before starting. Refer to the engine and Paddock operating manuals before first use.
Both petrol and electric models have a maximum stated climb angle of 20° when loaded to capacity. Always reduce speed and exercise additional caution on slopes, especially when carrying heavy or unstable materials.
