Description
This 30 micron water-absorbing fuel filter element provides filtration of petrol and diesel while helping protect downstream fuel-system components from water and particulate contamination.
The element uses water-absorbing material designed to trap water within the filter. As the filter absorbs water, fuel flow progressively reduces, providing an indication that the element requires replacement.

Designed for compatible fuel filtration systems, this 8" spin-on element combines 30 micron particulate filtration with water-absorbing technology.
The element can hold approximately 150mL of water. As water is absorbed, the element progressively restricts fuel flow and will eventually block, helping prevent the captured water from continuing through the fuel system.

Water-Absorbing Filter Technology
Unlike a conventional particulate-only fuel filter, this element contains water-absorbing material designed to capture and retain water present in the fuel.
As the element absorbs water, resistance through the filter increases and fuel flow progressively reduces. Once the element approaches its water-holding capacity, flow can become significantly restricted and the filter will require replacement.
Because this blocking action deliberately restricts fuel flow when water is absorbed, this filter type may not be suitable for every fuel system or application.

Filter Replacement
A noticeable reduction in fuel flow may indicate that the element has absorbed water or accumulated contamination and requires replacement. Do not continue operating equipment where inadequate fuel flow could cause unsafe or damaging operating conditions.
Compatibility
This element requires a compatible filter holder with a 1-1/2"-16 UNF filter connection. Confirm the filter's fuel compatibility, flow capacity, pressure rating and connection before installation.
