Description
The K Type EGT Thermocouple Probe is designed for exhaust gas temperature measurement applications and is also suitable as a replacement sensor for compatible Scintex EGT monitoring kits.
Featuring a robust enclosed-tip probe with stainless steel sheathed lead, the thermocouple is rated for temperatures up to 1000°C. Multiple lead lengths and mounting adaptor options are available to suit different installations.

This K type thermocouple provides a practical solution for measuring exhaust gas temperatures in compatible automotive, engine and machinery applications.
The 4.8mm diameter enclosed-tip probe provides a robust sensor design, while a maximum insertion depth of 35mm allows the probe to be positioned within the exhaust gas stream.

EGT Applications
Exhaust gas temperature monitoring is commonly used on engines and machinery where exhaust temperature information is required. The probe is installed so the sensing tip is exposed to the exhaust gas stream and connected to a compatible K type thermocouple display or monitoring system.

Ensure the selected probe length, mounting adaptor and lead length are suitable for the intended installation. Installation location and mounting method should be selected to prevent the probe or lead from contacting moving components and to protect the lead from unnecessary mechanical damage.
