Description
The GESPASA FG-100 Fuel Micro Filter provides high-capacity 5 micron fuel filtration for fuel transfer and dispensing systems operating at flow rates up to 105 L/min.
Available in diesel and multi-fuel versions, these European-manufactured filters feature a large 2L transparent bowl, replaceable filter element and integrated drain valve for inspecting and removing collected contamination.

FG-100-5um – Diesel Filter
The FG-100-5um is designed particularly for diesel fuel filtration and incorporates water-repelling filter media.
The supplied information states approximately 93% water decanting efficiency for this filter media.

High Flow Fuel Filtration
The FG-100 series has a stated transfer capacity of up to 105 L/min, making it suitable for larger fuel-transfer systems where both filtration performance and flow capacity are important.
Actual system flow will depend on the pump, fuel type, hose and fitting sizes, filter condition and other restrictions within the transfer system.
5 Micron Filtration
The replaceable element filters fuel down to a stated 5 micron, helping capture fine particulate contamination before fuel reaches downstream equipment, storage or vehicle fuel systems.
Filter elements should be inspected and replaced as required. Service life will vary considerably according to fuel quality, contamination levels, water content, flow rate and operating conditions.
2L Transparent Bowl & Drain
The large 2L transparent bowl provides capacity for collected contamination while allowing the operator to visually inspect the condition of the filter and contents of the bowl.
An integrated manual drain valve at the base allows collected water and contaminants to be drained as required.

Filter Element Service Life
The supplied product information indicates that filter elements may process very large fuel volumes under suitable conditions, with figures up to 500,000L stated.
This should not be treated as a fixed replacement interval. Element life depends on the cleanliness and condition of the fuel, water contamination, flow rate and operating environment. Inspect the filter regularly and replace the element when required for the application.
Installation & Maintenance
Install the filter in the correct flow direction and ensure all fittings, seals and other fuel-system components are compatible with the fuel being transferred.
Regularly inspect the transparent bowl for water, sediment and other contamination. Drain collected contamination as required and replace the filter element when flow becomes restricted or according to the system's maintenance requirements.
When filtering petrol, AVGAS or other flammable fuels, the complete transfer installation must be suitable for the particular fuel and operating environment. Filter compatibility alone does not make the complete pumping or dispensing system suitable for that fuel.
