Available Hose Sizes
The hose is available in a range of internal diameters from 1" (25mm) through to 6" (152mm). Refer to the dimensional chart below for the corresponding outside diameter of each hose size.
Hose Fittings & Pump Connections
Threaded hose-tail fittings are commonly used to connect the suction hose to pumps, filter housings, flow meters, centrifuges and other fluid-handling components.
When selecting fittings, match the hose internal diameter to the hose-tail size and confirm the fitting thread is compatible with the pump or equipment connection.
Suitable hose clamps should be used to securely retain the hose on the hose-tail fitting, particularly on pump suction lines where air leaks can affect pump priming and performance.
Temperature & Fluid Compatibility
The hose has a stated operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C.
For chemical or specialised fluid-transfer applications, confirm compatibility of the PVC hose with the specific fluid, concentration and operating temperature before use.
