Description
The Paddock™ Excavator Auger Drive converts a compatible Series 17 Paddock Excavator into a powerful hydraulic hole-drilling machine. Ideal for fencing, gate posts, tree planting and general property work, the attachment connects to the excavator's hydraulic system to drive compatible augers into the ground.
The auger drive features a 30mm output shaft, quick-hitch connection and compatibility with augers up to a stated 450mm maximum diameter.
Note: Augers are sold separately and are not included with the auger drive.
Paddock™ Hydraulic Excavator Auger Drive
Drilling post holes with an excavator provides excellent positioning and control for fencing, landscaping and property-maintenance projects.
The Paddock Auger Drive mounts to a compatible Series 17 Excavator using the quick-hitch connection. Two hydraulic lines connect the drive to the excavator's hydraulic system, providing power to rotate the fitted auger.

Up to 450mm Auger Diameter
The drive is specified for compatible augers up to a maximum stated diameter of 450mm, allowing the operator to select an auger size appropriate to the required hole.
Actual drilling performance will depend on auger size, ground conditions, excavator hydraulic performance and operating technique. Hard, rocky or heavily compacted ground can significantly affect drilling performance.
Quick-Hitch Connection
The auger drive connects to a compatible Paddock Series 17 Excavator using the quick-hitch system.
Two hydraulic lines are then connected to provide hydraulic power to the auger drive.
Always ensure the attachment is correctly secured and hydraulic connections are properly engaged before operation.
Augers Sold Separately
Augers are not included with the drive attachment. Compatible Paddock excavator augers can be ordered separately to suit the required hole diameter.

Use an auger appropriate to the ground conditions and intended hole size. Do not exceed the stated maximum auger diameter.
