Description
The Paddock™ Excavator Tilting Quick Hitch Attachment adds side-to-side tilt adjustment to compatible mini excavator attachments, allowing the operator to angle buckets and other compatible implements without repositioning the entire machine.
Ideal for grading, shaping, drainage work, trench finishing and working on sloped or uneven ground, the tilt hitch provides greater attachment flexibility for landscaping, civil and construction applications.
Paddock™ Excavator Tilting Quick Hitch Attachment
The Paddock tilting hitch is fitted to the end of a compatible mini excavator arm and allows connected attachments to be tilted side-to-side.
This can reduce the need to repeatedly reposition the excavator when grading, shaping or working on uneven ground, making the machine more versatile across a wide range of site conditions.
Key Features
- Adds side-to-side tilt adjustment to compatible excavator attachments
- Quick hitch functionality for attachment changes
- Improves flexibility when grading and shaping
- Useful on slopes and uneven ground
- Helps reduce unnecessary machine repositioning
- Suitable for landscaping, trenching and finishing work
- Can be used with compatible buckets and other excavator attachments
Tilting Attachment Control
The tilting hitch allows the connected attachment to be angled left or right from the excavator arm centreline.
This additional movement can make it easier to follow ground contours, shape batters, clean drainage channels and complete finish work where a fixed attachment angle would otherwise require frequent machine repositioning.
Quick Hitch Capability
The attachment also functions as a quick hitch, allowing compatible excavator attachments to be connected and changed more efficiently.
This can reduce downtime when switching between buckets and other compatible implements during a job.
Typical Applications
- Landscaping and shaping
- Grading and finish work
- Drainage and trench finishing
- Batter and slope work
- Roadside and embankment work
- Confined-access excavation
- Working on uneven ground
Improved Excavator Versatility
A tilting hitch can increase the usefulness of a mini excavator by allowing the attachment angle to be adjusted independently of the machine position.
This is particularly useful for tasks requiring fine control over the working angle of a bucket or other attachment.
Compatibility
Compatibility depends on the excavator model, pin dimensions, attachment geometry and hydraulic requirements.
Confirm the hitch dimensions and machine compatibility before purchasing or installation.
Important Operating Information
Operate the tilting hitch and connected attachments within the rated limits of the excavator and hitch system.
Ensure all attachment pins, couplers and hydraulic connections are correctly secured before use, and inspect the hitch regularly for wear or damage.
