Identify the pest, treatment area and permitted use on the product label before selecting a chemical. Consider whether the application is indoors, outdoors, around food, livestock, gardens or waterways, and choose a product registered for that situation. The label directions, active ingredient, withholding periods and safety requirements take priority over general product descriptions.
Contact products act when the pest is directly exposed, residual products remain active on treated surfaces for a stated period, and systemic products are absorbed by a plant or organism and move within it. Some formulations combine these actions. Select the treatment method suited to the target pest and follow the label for application rate, timing and permitted surfaces.
Only mix products when the labels specifically permit the combination and provide compatible rates and procedures. Unapproved mixtures can reduce effectiveness, damage plants or surfaces, create hazardous reactions and make disposal difficult. Conduct any required compatibility or jar test, use clean measuring equipment and never combine leftover spray mixtures casually.
The label specifies the minimum personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, eye protection, coveralls, respirators or enclosed footwear. Requirements can differ between mixing, spraying and cleanup. Use equipment that is appropriate for the formulation and replace contaminated or damaged PPE. Keep unprotected people and animals away from the treatment area.
Store chemicals in their original labelled containers, secured away from children, animals, food, feed, heat and direct sunlight. Keep incompatible products separated and protect containers from damage. Dispose of unused product, rinse water and empty containers strictly according to the label and local requirements; never pour chemicals into drains, waterways or onto untreated ground.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
