Petrol Pumps 24V

Unleaded petrol and gasoline pumps powered by 24V DC. Designed to be used with petrol and flammable liquids where the risk of sparking or fire is present. For safety only compatible pumps should be used with unleaded fuel as diesel pumps will not be suitable.
A 24V petrol pump suits trucks, buses, heavy machinery and mobile refuelling systems that already use a 24V electrical supply. For a comparable power output, a 24V system can draw less current than a 12V system, which may assist with voltage drop and cable sizing. The pump voltage must match the vehicle or battery system exactly.
Use the pump only with fuels specifically listed for that model. Depending on the product, these may include unleaded petrol, gasoline, kerosene, diesel or selected solvents. Compatibility varies between pumps, so do not assume that every 24V fuel pump can handle every fuel, aviation fuel, ethanol blend or chemical.
Consider the required flow rate, tank size, frequency of use, duty cycle, suction lift, hose diameter and hose length. Long hoses, restrictive filters and fittings, low supply voltage or excessive lift can reduce real-world flow. Also confirm that the battery, cable size, fuse and switching arrangement can safely supply the pump’s rated current.
Selected pumps are suitable for mobile installations when mounted securely and used with an approved tank, petrol-compatible hose, fittings and dispensing equipment. Protect the pump and wiring from vibration, weather, abrasion and accidental impact. The complete installation must be suitable for flammable fuel and comply with any relevant vehicle, workplace and storage requirements.
Inspect the pump, electrical leads, fuse, hose, nozzle, seals and tank connections for damage or leakage. Confirm the area is ventilated and free of ignition sources, and ensure the pump is connected with correct polarity to a healthy 24V supply. Stop immediately if the pump overheats, leaks, sparks, loses flow or operates abnormally.
