Poly Dump Carts

Paddock™ Poly Dump Carts are built to make transporting heavy loads around farms, acreages, gardens and worksites faster, easier and more efficient. Designed with heavy-duty powder-coated steel frames and durable UV-stabilised polyethylene tubs, these tow-behind carts are ideal for moving soil, mulch, gravel, firewood, animal feed, fencing supplies, garden waste and more. Compatible with ride-on mowers, ATVs, quad bikes and side-by-sides, each cart features a convenient quick-release tipping mechanism for fast unloading and large pneumatic tyres that provide excellent stability across rough terrain while minimising damage to lawns. Backed by local Australian support, genuine spare parts and nationwide freight, Scintex offers premium poly dump carts that deliver exceptional durability, high load capacities and reliable performance for both domestic and commercial applications.

Compare load capacity, tub volume, overall dimensions, tyre type, ground clearance, hitch compatibility and tipping mechanism. Consider what will be carried and the terrain rather than selecting on capacity alone. A larger cart may reduce trips, but it must remain within the safe towing and braking capability of the mower, ATV or utility vehicle.
Poly dump carts are commonly used for soil, mulch, firewood, garden waste, tools, feed and general property materials. Loads must remain within the cart’s rated capacity and be distributed evenly. Avoid carrying hot ash, sharp scrap or chemicals that may damage the tub, and secure bulky items that could shift or fall during transport.
They can be used on moderate uneven terrain when correctly loaded and towed at low speed, but side slopes, steep descents and sudden turns increase rollover risk. Keep heavy material low and centred, avoid exceeding the tow vehicle’s limits and do not allow passengers to ride in the cart. Choose tyres appropriate for the surface and conditions.
A polyethylene tub will not rust, is relatively light and is generally easy to wash clean. It also tolerates normal bumps better than many thin metal bodies. However, it can still be cut, punctured or distorted by excessive loads, sharp objects, heat or severe impacts, so the cart should be used within its intended limits.
Inspect tyres, wheel bearings or bushes, axle retainers, hitch pin, frame fasteners and the tipping latch before use. Keep moving points clean and lubricated where specified, maintain pneumatic tyre pressure and wash out corrosive or damp material after transport. Store the cart with the tub empty and the latch secured.
