Power Sprayers

The Paddock™ Backpack Sprayers are a practical and efficient solution for applying herbicides, pesticides, fertilisers and other liquid treatments around your home, garden, property or farm. Designed for comfort and ease of use, it provides a reliable way to tackle a wide range of spraying tasks, from weed control and pest management to fertilising and general property maintenance.

Built for durability and dependable performance, the Paddock™ Backpack Sprayer helps you cover large areas quickly and efficiently, making spraying jobs easier while delivering consistent application results.

Choose a battery-powered backpack sprayer for controlled spot spraying around gardens, fence lines, paths, sheds and smaller properties. Its adjustable pressure and trigger-operated pump make it easier to limit overspray around sensitive plants and confined areas. Choose a petrol mister blower when you need greater reach, airflow and coverage through orchards, dense foliage or larger outdoor areas. Petrol units are heavier and louder, but can project mist horizontally and vertically and may also handle compatible powders or granules. Always compare the individual model’s capacity, output, weight and approved uses before selecting.
Depending on the model, power sprayers can be used for applying compatible herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, liquid fertilisers, sanitisers and other water-based solutions around homes, farms, orchards, crops and livestock areas. Selected petrol mister blowers can also disperse suitable fine powders or granular products. Chemical suitability is determined by the chemical label and the sprayer’s wetted materials, seals, pump and nozzle system—not simply by whether the liquid can be poured into the tank. Never use flammable liquids, solvents or products that are not approved for powered spraying.
Spraying generally uses larger droplets and a wand or nozzle to apply liquid directly to weeds, surfaces or targeted plants. Misting creates smaller droplets carried by airflow, allowing better penetration into foliage and greater horizontal or vertical reach, but it also increases drift risk. Dusting uses airflow to disperse approved dry powders or granules and is only available on suitable models. Choose the method specified on the chemical label and adjust flow, nozzle pattern and operating technique to suit the target and weather conditions.
Spray only in suitable weather and avoid strong wind, high heat or conditions that can carry droplets away from the target. Use the lowest pressure and largest droplet size that still provides effective coverage, keep the nozzle close to the target and reduce the flow around gardens, boundaries and sensitive plants. With mister blowers, direct the air stream carefully and account for the much greater reach. Calibrate the sprayer using clean water before applying chemical so you understand its output, travel speed and coverage.
Follow the chemical label for disposal and decontamination, then flush the tank, filters, pump or fluid passages, hose and nozzles with the recommended cleaning solution. Do not allow mixed chemical to remain in the sprayer between uses, and never combine incompatible residues. Inspect hoses, trigger assemblies, seals, filters, nozzles, harnesses and electrical or engine components regularly. Recharge and store batteries as directed, and service petrol engines with the correct fuel mixture and maintenance schedule. Relieve pressure, store the unit empty and dry, and replace damaged parts before the next use.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
