Inline Digital Turbine Flow Meters
Description
Digital inline turbine flow meters for measuring diesel, water, biodiesel and other compatible low-viscosity fluids. Available with flow ranges from 5 to 380 L/min, these compact battery-powered meters are easy to install into fuel transfer and water pumping systems using standard BSP connections.
Inline Digital Turbine Flow Meters
Measure and track fluid transfer with a simple, compact digital flow meter. These turbine meters are designed for low pressure drop and can be installed directly into pipework, pumping systems or dispensing hoses.
- Flow ranges from 5 to 380 L/min
- Accuracy up to ±0.5% depending on model
- Suitable for diesel, water and compatible low-viscosity fluids
- Selected models suitable for biodiesel blends up to B30
- Resettable and non-resettable totalisers
- User calibration allows adjustment for compatible fluids
- Battery powered – no external electrical supply required
- IP65 rated
- Standard BSP threaded connections
Choosing the Right Flow Meter
Selecting the correct meter primarily depends on your required flow rate, connection size and accuracy. For best results, choose a meter where your normal operating flow falls comfortably within the specified flow range.
SPEVFLO1BSP: A compact 1" meter covering 5-120 L/min. A good option for common diesel transfer and water pumping applications.
SPEVINFLO25: A higher-flow 1" meter covering 19-190 L/min and suitable for diesel, water and biodiesel blends up to B30.
SPEVINFLO40: The largest capacity option with a 1-1/2" connection, 38-380 L/min flow range and accuracy of ±0.5%. Ideal for higher-flow transfer systems.
Digital Flow Meter Applications
These meters provide a convenient way to monitor how much fluid is being transferred through a pumping or dispensing system. Typical applications include:
- Diesel fuel transfer and dispensing
- Water transfer systems
- Tank filling and emptying
- Farm and agricultural pumping systems
- Workshop fuel dispensing
- Mobile fuel transfer equipment
- Industrial fluid transfer
- Biodiesel transfer with compatible models
Easy Inline Installation
The meters can be installed inline within a pumping system or at the end of a delivery hose. Standard BSP threaded connections make integration simple, and Scintex can also supply compatible hose, fittings and adapters to complete your installation.
The compact, lightweight design also makes these meters well suited to mobile pumping and dispensing systems where space is limited.
Battery Powered Digital Display
With internal batteries, there is no need to run external electrical wiring to the meter. This makes installation particularly convenient for mobile fuel tanks, farm equipment and remote pumping systems.
The LCD display provides both resettable and non-resettable totals, allowing operators to monitor individual transfers while also retaining an overall record of fluid throughput.
Low Pressure Drop Turbine Design
The internal turbine design provides accurate flow measurement while minimising restriction through the meter. This helps maintain pumping performance while still allowing transferred volumes to be monitored.
The meters can also be user calibrated, allowing the calibration factor to be adjusted to suit compatible fluids and operating conditions.

Installation Considerations
Before ordering, check the expected flow rate of your pumping system and confirm the required BSP connection size. The normal operating flow should remain within the specified flow range of the selected meter.
Fluid viscosity can affect turbine meter accuracy. These models are specified for low-viscosity fluids within the ranges shown above and can be user calibrated to suit compatible applications.
Scintex can also supply hose, fittings and adapters to help integrate the meter into your existing pumping or dispensing system.
