Automatic Fuel Nozzles – 3/4" & 1" BSP
Description
Automatic fuel dispensing nozzles for fuel transfer pumps, tanks and bowser-style refuelling systems. Available with 3/4" or 1" BSP female inlets and a choice of spout sizes to suit petrol and diesel refuelling applications.
These nozzles incorporate an automatic shut-off mechanism designed to stop fuel flow when the receiving tank reaches the nozzle sensing point, helping reduce the risk of overfilling during normal refuelling.
Automatic Fuel Dispensing Nozzles
Scintex automatic fuel nozzles provide a convenient bowser-style solution for compatible fuel transfer systems. Three nozzle configurations are available, allowing users to select the inlet and spout size best suited to their application.
- Automatic shut-off operation
- 3/4" and 1" BSP female inlet options
- Three spout configurations available
- Petrol-style and diesel-style spout options
- Aluminium alloy construction
- Trigger handle lock
- Suitable for many compatible Scintex fuel transfer pumps
- Optional swivel fittings available
Choose the Correct Fuel Nozzle
The three available configurations primarily differ in their inlet size and dispensing spout diameter.
The smaller 13/16" spout is designed to fit many common petrol filler openings, while the larger 1-1/16" spout provides a diesel-style nozzle configuration. A 15/16" intermediate spout option is also available.

Automatic Shut-Off
The automatic shut-off mechanism is designed to stop dispensing when fuel reaches the nozzle sensing point during normal refuelling. This provides convenient bowser-style operation when used with a compatible pumped fuel system.
Automatic shut-off operation depends on the nozzle being correctly inserted and used with adequate fuel flow and pressure. The operator should remain with the nozzle and monitor the refuelling process at all times.
Not Suitable for Gravity Feed Systems
Important: These automatic nozzles are not recommended for gravity-feed systems. Gravity-fed installations may not provide sufficient flow and pressure for reliable operation of the automatic shut-off mechanism.
For gravity-feed applications, use a suitable manual shut-off fuel nozzle.
Optional Fuel Nozzle Swivel
Compatible aluminium swivel fittings are available to suit selected nozzle and hose configurations. The swivel allows the nozzle to rotate relative to the fuel hose, helping reduce hose twisting, binding and kinking during refuelling.
The swivel incorporates a Viton O-ring to provide a fuel-resistant seal while allowing free rotation.
Select the appropriate swivel option from the product options when ordering.
Installation & Compatibility
Before ordering, confirm the required BSP inlet size, spout diameter and fuel compatibility for your transfer system and receiving tank.
Use fuel-rated hose, fittings and sealing materials and check all connections for leaks before operation.
