Description
This 240V high flow gear oil pump is designed for transferring viscous fluids including motor oils, lubricating oils and compatible light oils. With a flow rate of up to 40 L/min, continuous-duty motor and positive-displacement gear pump design, it is well suited to workshops, service facilities and light industrial fluid transfer applications.
The pump can handle oils with a viscosity of up to 2000 cSt and can also be used for compatible diesel transfer applications. Threaded 1" inlet and outlet ports allow straightforward integration into fixed or portable pumping systems.
240V High Flow Gear Oil Pump – 40 L/min
Designed for transferring oils and other compatible viscous fluids, this electric gear pump combines a 1100W single-phase motor with a positive-displacement pumping mechanism capable of delivering up to 40 L/min.
Gear pumps are particularly suited to fluids that are more viscous than those typically handled by centrifugal pumps, making this unit useful for transferring motor oil, lubricants, vegetable oils and similar compatible fluids.

Suitable Applications
This pump is suited to a range of workshop, mechanical and light industrial fluid transfer applications, including the transfer of compatible:
- Motor oils
- Lubricating oils
- Light oils
- Vegetable oils
- Diesel fuel
Always confirm the fluid being transferred is compatible with the pump materials and falls within the specified viscosity and temperature limits.
Positive Displacement Gear Pump
The positive-displacement gear design provides strong suction performance and allows the pump to transfer higher-viscosity fluids while developing useful discharge pressure.
Important: Gear pumps contain closely fitted rotating internal components and are not designed to handle solids or contaminated fluids. Dirt and debris can become trapped between the gears and cause accelerated wear or pump damage.
A suitable suction strainer or filter should be installed where the cleanliness of the pumped fluid cannot be guaranteed.

Installation Considerations
For best performance, keep the suction line appropriately sized and as short as practical. Ensure all suction-side connections are airtight and use a suitable filter or strainer where contamination may be present.
Actual flow rate will vary depending on fluid viscosity, temperature, suction conditions, discharge pressure and system plumbing.
