Low-Pressure Fuel Supply & Lift Pump
The pump can be used in suitable fuel systems to draw fuel from a tank and supply it toward filters, carburettors or an existing engine fuel system where the required pressure and flow are compatible with the pump's specifications.
Its compact dimensions and low current draw also make it useful for auxiliary and custom fuel-system installations where a small 12V or 24V pump is required.
Always confirm that 4–6 PSI fuel pressure and the available flow rate are suitable for the engine, carburettor, injection system or other downstream equipment before installation.
Self-Priming Design
The pump is self-priming with a stated minimum dry lift capability of approximately 12" / 300mm. For best performance, minimise suction lift and restriction wherever practical and install the supplied suction strainer to help prevent contaminants entering the pump.
Actual fuel flow will vary depending on suction lift, discharge pressure, hose size, filters, fittings and other restrictions within the fuel system.
Internal Bypass
An internal bypass allows the pump to regulate fuel delivery as downstream demand changes. This makes the pump suitable for compatible applications where fuel demand is not constant.
The bypass should not be considered a substitute for correct fuel-system design or appropriate pressure control where required by the engine or fuel system.
Important – No Positive Fuel Shut-Off
This pump does not provide positive fuel shut-off and does not incorporate an internal check valve. Fuel-system design should take this into account, particularly where gravity feed, siphoning or reverse flow could occur.
If positive isolation or non-return functionality is required, suitable external fuel-rated components should be incorporated into the installation.
Electrical Connection
The pump is supplied with a ring-terminal negative lead but no positive electrical lead. Appropriate fuel-pump wiring, switching and circuit protection should be installed to suit the vehicle and application.
Select the correct 12V or 24V model to match the vehicle or equipment electrical system.

Installation Considerations
Before installation, confirm the pump's pressure, flow, voltage and fuel compatibility are suitable for the engine and complete fuel system. Use fuel-rated hose and fittings and ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
The pump should be securely mounted and protected from excessive heat, impact and other potential sources of damage. Appropriate electrical circuit protection and switching should be incorporated into the installation.
For automotive applications, the electrical system should be configured so the fuel pump does not continue operating unintentionally when the engine is stopped.
