24V Brushless Water Circulation Pump – 5000 L/hr, 20m Head
Description
The 24V Brushless Water Circulation Pump is a heavy-duty centrifugal pump designed for continuous-duty water and water/glycol circulation applications. Featuring a 250W IP67 brushless motor, integrated electronic controller and a performance range of up to approximately 5,000 L/hr, the pump is suited to automotive cooling, machinery, marine, heating and low-voltage water circulation systems.
The brushless motor eliminates conventional motor brushes and is rated for an operating life of 20,000+ hours at 36°C and 24V.
24V Brushless Motor Water Circulation Pump
This high-performance 24V centrifugal water pump combines a brushless DC motor with an integrated electronic controller, allowing it to be connected directly to a suitable 24V DC electrical supply.
The pump accepts an input voltage range of 18–32V DC and includes electronic protection against reverse polarity, dry running, over-voltage, over-current, overload and excessive temperature.

Automotive, Marine & Industrial Circulation
The brushless motor design makes this pump particularly suitable for applications requiring extended operating periods and low-voltage DC power.
Typical applications can include:
- Truck and bus coolant circulation
- Marine cooling-water circulation
- Automotive auxiliary cooling systems
- Machinery cooling systems
- Water/glycol circulation
- Heating-water circulation
- Solar and battery-powered circulation systems
- Low-voltage water transfer
- Agricultural circulation systems
Brushless DC Motor
Unlike a conventional brushed DC motor, the brushless design eliminates carbon brushes as a normal wear component.
The motor is rated for an operating life of 20,000+ hours when operated at 36°C and 24V. Actual service life will depend on installation, operating conditions, fluid temperature, electrical supply and system load.
Integrated Motor Controller
The motor controller is integrated into the pump assembly, simplifying installation into a suitable 24V electrical system.
Built-in protection functions include:
- Reverse-polarity protection
- Dry-running protection
- Over-voltage protection
- Over-current protection
- Overload protection
- Over-temperature protection
Dry-Run Protection
The pump includes a dry-run protection function which activates after approximately 15 minutes of operation without flow.
Despite this protection, the pump should not intentionally be operated dry. Correct priming and a reliable fluid supply will help maximise pump service life.
Water & Glycol Compatibility
The pump is suitable for water and water/glycol mixtures containing up to 60% glycol, making it suitable for many coolant and heating circulation applications.
For fluids other than water/glycol mixtures, compatibility with the pump materials should be confirmed before use.
High Discharge Head
The centrifugal pump provides a useful combination of flow and discharge head for a compact 24V DC unit.
Maximum flow and maximum head do not occur at the same operating point. As system resistance and discharge head increase, available flow decreases.
Brushless Water Pump Performance
| Flow | Discharge Head |
|---|---|
| 5,000 L/hr | 2m |
| 4,000 L/hr | 8m |
| 3,000 L/hr | 14m |
| 2,000 L/hr | 19m |
| 800 L/hr | 20m |
As an additional reference point, pump performance is approximately 2,800 L/hr at 16m discharge head. Actual system performance will vary with pipe size, restrictions, fittings, fluid viscosity and supply voltage.

Installation
The pump should be installed with appropriately sized wiring, circuit protection and connections suitable for the pump's 10A rated and 16A maximum current draw.
Cable sizing should be selected according to the actual cable run, supply voltage, allowable voltage drop and installation conditions. Ensure the pump receives adequate fluid supply and avoid unnecessary restrictions on the suction side.
