12V High Flow Fuel Pump – 530 LPH, 9 PSI
Description
This 12V high flow fuel pump is designed for performance vehicles, 4WDs, trucks, custom fuel systems and fuel transfer or polishing applications. Using a rotary vane pumping design, it delivers a stated 530 LPH (140 GPH) at 9 PSI with smooth, continuous fuel flow.
Compatible with petrol, alcohol and methanol fuels, the pump is suitable for continuous-duty operation and includes a mounting bracket for straightforward installation.
12V High Flow Rotary Vane Fuel Pump – 530 LPH
Designed for applications requiring substantial fuel flow at relatively low pressure, this 12V rotary vane pump delivers up to 530 LPH (140 GPH) at 9 PSI.
The rotary vane design provides a smooth, pulse-free supply and is well suited to compatible carburettor fuel systems, custom fuel transfer setups and onboard fuel filtration or polishing systems.

High Flow at Low Pressure
The pump delivers a stated 530 LPH (140 GPH) at 61kPa (9 PSI), providing substantial fuel volume for applications requiring high flow without the pressures associated with modern fuel-injection systems.
Maximum pump pressure is 14 PSI. A suitable fuel pressure regulator may be required where the downstream fuel system or carburettor requires a lower operating pressure.
Rotary Vane Pump Design
The rotary vane pumping mechanism provides a consistent fuel supply with minimal pulsation, making it suitable for applications where stable fuel delivery is important.
The pump is also rated for continuous-duty operation, allowing it to be used in suitable fuel transfer and circulation applications as well as vehicle fuel systems.
Fuel Polishing & Filtration Systems
The combination of high flow and continuous-duty operation makes this pump useful for custom fuel filtration and polishing systems.
Fuel can be circulated from a tank through appropriately selected filters and returned to the tank, helping process larger fuel volumes without relying on the vehicle's primary fuel system.
Actual system flow will depend on the fuel, filter condition, hose diameter and length, fittings, suction conditions and other restrictions.
Fuel Compatibility
The pump is specified as compatible with:
- Petrol / gasoline
- Alcohol fuels
- Methanol
Compatibility with other fuels or fluids should be confirmed before use.
Important Fuel System Compatibility
This pump is not designed or recommended for fuel-injection systems.
Its high-flow, relatively low-pressure characteristics are better suited to compatible carburettor systems and fuel transfer, circulation or polishing applications.
Where used to supply an engine, confirm that the pump's pressure and flow characteristics are suitable for the engine and fuel system. Install an appropriate fuel pressure regulator where required.
12V Electrical Installation
The motor draws approximately 4A at 12V DC. A 10A fuse is recommended in the supplied product specifications.
Use appropriately sized automotive wiring and suitable circuit protection, connections and switching for the installation. The pump should be securely mounted using the supplied bracket and installed away from excessive heat or potential mechanical damage.
