Description
This 240V Self-Priming Shallow Well Jet Pump combines a 750W continuous-duty motor, stainless steel pump components and integrated pressure/flow control for household water supply, irrigation, pressure boosting and clean-water transfer applications.
The surface-mounted jet pump has a stated maximum suction lift of approximately 9m under suitable conditions, making it suitable for shallow wells, tanks and other applications where the water source is below the pump.

Shallow Well & Suction Applications
The jet pump design allows the pump to draw water from below its installation level, with a stated maximum suction lift of approximately 9m under suitable conditions.
This makes it useful for shallow wells, tanks, dams and other clean-water sources where a surface-mounted pump is preferred.
Actual achievable suction lift will depend on installation conditions including elevation above sea level, water temperature, suction pipe diameter and length, fittings, restrictions and the ability of the suction system to remain completely airtight.
For reliable operation, use an appropriately sized suction line and suitable foot valve or non-return valve, and minimise restrictions and air leaks on the suction side.
Integrated Automatic Pump Controller
The integrated controller provides automatic pressure and flow-based operation, allowing the pump to respond to water demand in suitable pressure-pumping installations.

Installation Considerations
For suction-lift applications, the suction plumbing must be airtight. Even a small air leak can reduce priming performance or prevent the pump from establishing suction.
Keep the suction line as short and direct as practical, use an appropriately sized foot valve or non-return valve, and ensure the pump is correctly primed before initial operation.
The pump is recommended for clean water. Protect the pump from sediment and debris where required using suitable upstream equipment.
