Description
The Sherpa 4x4 Aluminium Hawse Fairlead provides a smooth guide surface for synthetic winch rope as it travels on and off the winch drum. Manufactured from aluminium with smooth rope-contact surfaces, the hawse design helps reduce snagging and abrasion during winching.
Available in Premium Black, Standard Black, Offset Black and ATV Silver configurations to suit different Sherpa winches and installation requirements.
Sherpa 4x4 Aluminium Hawse Fairleads
Hawse fairleads are designed for winches fitted with synthetic rope, providing a smooth opening through which the rope can travel during winching and recovery operations.
The Sherpa range includes standard and premium full-size fairleads, an offset version for installations requiring additional clearance, and a compact ATV fairlead.

SAH002 Premium Black & SAH004 Standard Black
The full-size Sherpa hawse fairleads are designed for synthetic-rope winches and feature a 254mm (10") mounting-hole centre spacing.

SOH002 Offset Black Hawse Fairlead
The SOH002 incorporates a 30mm offset for winch installations where the mounting arrangement or bull bar requires the rope opening to be repositioned relative to the mounting surface.
This style may be required with some bull bar and winch mounting configurations. Check the required fairlead position, mounting centres and available clearance before ordering.
SAH003 Silver ATV Hawse Fairlead
The compact SAH003 is designed for compatible ATV winch installations using synthetic rope.

Synthetic Rope Compatibility
Hawse fairleads are intended for use with compatible synthetic winch ropes. The smooth opening provides a suitable guide surface as the rope enters and exits the winch drum.
Inspect the fairlead regularly and do not use it if the rope-contact surface becomes damaged, burred or develops sharp edges that could damage the synthetic rope.
Choosing the Correct Fairlead
Before ordering, check the winch mounting arrangement, fairlead mounting-hole centres, rope type and available clearance. The offset model should only be selected where the installation requires the additional offset.
