Snorkel Heads & Pre Cleaners

The Sherpa 4x4 range of snorkel heads offer a variety of solutions for your snorkel. With everything from coloured snorkel grills to pre cleaners.
A pre-cleaner removes much of the dust, chaff and larger debris before it reaches the engine air filter. This extends filter life and maintains airflow in dusty operating conditions.
Their primary purpose is cleaner intake air rather than extra power. By reducing filter restriction over time they can help maintain consistent engine performance in harsh environments.
Cyclonic pre-cleaners are particularly effective where vehicles operate continuously in dust, agricultural environments or mining applications because they spin heavier particles out of the intake air.
Many models fit common snorkel diameters, but always check the inlet size and mounting arrangement before purchasing to ensure a secure fit.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
