Description
The Digital Water Level Display & Pump Controller is designed for monitoring tank, bore and well water levels using a compatible 4–20mA level or pressure sensor.
The controller converts the sensor signal into an easy-to-read digital value and percentage bar graph, while integrated relay outputs can be configured for functions such as pump control or level alarms. RS-485, RS-232 and Modbus communication support also allows integration into compatible monitoring and control systems.

Water Level Monitoring
When connected to a compatible 4–20mA submersible pressure or level sensor, the controller converts the incoming signal into a numerical level reading.
The display can be configured across a range from -1999 to 9999, allowing the indicated value to be scaled to suit the measurement being monitored.
A separate 0–100% bar graph provides a quick visual indication of the measured level.
Pump & Alarm Control
Integrated relay outputs allow the controller to be incorporated into compatible pump and alarm control systems.
Configured level set points can be used to operate external control equipment when the measured water level reaches selected values. Typical applications may include:

Important: The controller relay contacts are rated to a maximum of 220V AC / 0.6A or 24V DC / 0.6A. Pumps and other higher-current loads should be switched through appropriately rated external control equipment rather than directly through the controller where the load exceeds these relay ratings.
4–20mA Sensor Compatibility
The controller can accept a 4–20mA input signal, making it suitable for use with many industrial level and pressure transmitters that use this standard output.
Sensor compatibility should be confirmed by checking the sensor's output signal, supply requirements and wiring configuration before installation.
Remote Communications
The controller supports the Modbus communication protocol along with RS-485 and RS-232 communication interfaces for integration with compatible monitoring, automation and telemetry equipment.

Installation Notes
The controller should be installed in a dry, protected enclosure and wired according to the requirements of the connected sensor and control system.
Where the relay outputs are being used to control a pump, ensure the pump load is switched through suitably rated control equipment where required. Do not exceed the controller's stated relay contact ratings.
For bore or well monitoring, confirm that the selected level sensor has the correct measurement range and 4–20mA output for the installation.
