Brass Pressure Relief Safety Valve – 1/4" BSP, 225 PSI
Description
The Brass Pressure Relief Safety Valve is designed for use with small compressed-air tanks and compatible air compressor systems. Supplied preset to 225 PSI, the valve provides a secondary means of relieving excess pressure if system pressure rises beyond the valve setting.
Featuring a 1/4" BSP threaded connection and adjustable pressure setting, it is well suited to compact air tanks commonly used with 12V air compressor installations.
Brass Pressure Relief Safety Valve – 1/4" BSP
A pressure relief valve is an important safety component in a compressed-air system. If the compressor pressure switch fails to stop the compressor at the intended cut-out pressure, the relief valve is designed to open at its set pressure and release excess compressed air.
Key Features
- Brass pressure relief safety valve
- 1/4" BSP threaded connection
- Supplied preset to 225 PSI
- User-adjustable pressure setting
- Suitable for compatible small compressed-air tanks
- Ideal for air tanks used with 12V air compressor systems
- Provides secondary over-pressure protection
225 PSI Preset Pressure
The valve is supplied with the relief pressure preset to 225 PSI, ready for installation in a compatible compressed-air system.
The relief setting must always be appropriate for the maximum allowable pressure of the air tank, hoses, fittings and other components within the system.
1/4" BSP Connection
The valve uses a 1/4" BSP threaded connection for installation into a compatible air receiver, manifold or other suitable compressed-air fitting.

Important Safety Information
Do not set the relief pressure above the safe working pressure of the air tank or any other component in the compressed-air system.
The relief valve should not be used as a substitute for a correctly functioning pressure switch or other required system controls. Periodically inspect and test the compressed-air system and replace damaged or malfunctioning components before further use.
