Stallion 25000lb

I've emailed Sherpa about this problem. The stallion does not hold a load on an incline. The load goes back down the ramp as soon as I let off of the in button. Does the lever on the top of the winch have to be in a certain position to hold the load? Has anybody else been having this problem. Do I need new parts?
