Consider maximum branch diameter, material type, feed system, engine power and expected workload. Buying for the largest material you regularly process generally delivers the best long-term value.
Replace or sharpen blades when chipping performance declines or chips become ragged. Sharp blades reduce fuel use and machine strain.
Balanced blades minimise vibration, protecting bearings, shafts and engine components while producing smoother operation.
Check belts, bearings, blade fasteners, lubrication points and engine servicing at the recommended intervals.
Most quality machines handle both, although very fibrous or wet material may require slower feed rates to maintain efficient chipping.

High Flow Gear Oil Pump
Great pump . Indestructible

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
