The Paddock 12V ATV Seed & Fertiliser Spreader is a compact powered broadcast spreader designed for mounting to quad bikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, ride-on mowers and other suitable 12V vehicles. Ideal for spreading grass seed, fertiliser and other compatible granules, it provides fast and even coverage across paddocks, lawns and small to medium acreages.

The 12V motor drives the broadcast plate while a remote adjustment lever allows the operator to control product flow from the driving position. With a hopper capacity of approximately 31L / 36kg and a spread diameter of up to approximately 4m, this is a practical solution for pasture maintenance, lawn care and general property use.

Powered Broadcast Spreading

The Paddock spreader uses your vehicle's existing 12V electrical system to power the broadcast motor.

As the motor spins the distribution plate, seed, fertiliser or other compatible granular material is thrown out behind and beside the vehicle to create a broad, even spread pattern.

This makes the unit well suited to:

Up to 4m Spread Diameter

Depending on the product being spread, operating speed and flow setting, the spreader can distribute material up to approximately 2m to either side of the hopper, producing a total spread diameter of up to approximately 4m.

Actual spread width will vary depending on the size, weight, density and flow characteristics of the material being used.

Remote Flow Adjustment

A remote adjustment lever allows the operator to control the hopper outlet from the vehicle position.

This allows you to:

• Increase or decrease the application rate
• Stop product flow at the end of a run
• Close the hopper while turning or repositioning
• Restart spreading for the next pass

This helps reduce wasted product and gives the operator better control over application consistency.

31L / 36kg Hopper Capacity

The polyethylene hopper has a volume of approximately 31L and is rated to hold up to approximately 36kg / 80lb of suitable product.

The actual weight that can be carried will depend on the density of the material being spread. Always ensure the vehicle rack and mounting arrangement are capable of safely supporting the combined weight of the spreader and its contents.

Application Rate Setup

Where a specific fertiliser or seed application rate is required, the spreader can be calibrated using the procedure supplied in the instruction manual.

Application rate will vary according to:

• Product type
• Granule or seed size
• Flow-control setting
• Vehicle travel speed
• Spread width

For best results, perform a small test application before treating a large area.

Heavy Duty Outdoor Construction

The spreader is designed for regular outdoor use around farms, properties and acreages.

The hopper is manufactured from UV-stabilised polyethylene, which is resistant to corrosion and well suited to contact with common fertilisers.

A powder coated steel frame supports the hopper and drive system while keeping the overall assembly compact and relatively lightweight.

12V Drive Motor

The integrated 12V DC motor drives the broadcast plate independently of vehicle movement.

This means spreading performance does not depend on the wheels or axle of the vehicle, allowing the spreader to operate while mounted to a wide range of suitable equipment.

The supplied battery leads connect to an existing 12V electrical system. Before installation, ensure the vehicle's electrical system is suitable for the spreader and that all wiring is routed securely away from moving or hot components.

Mounting to an ATV, Quad Bike or Mower

The spreader is designed primarily for mounting to suitable front or rear luggage racks using the supplied mounting clamps.

It can be used with equipment such as:

• Quad bikes

• Ride-on mowers
• Small tractors with a suitable mounting platform
• Utilities with a suitable custom mounting arrangement

Vehicles without a suitable luggage rack or mounting platform may require a custom installation.

Where additional support straps or brackets are required, these are not included and should be suitably rated for the loaded weight of the spreader.

Rain Cover Included

A hopper rain cover is included to help protect seed and fertiliser from light moisture during use and transport.

This is particularly useful when working with fertilisers and other granular products that can absorb moisture and begin clumping.

Important Operating Notes

Mounting capacity: Check the rated capacity of the ATV, mower or vehicle rack before filling the hopper. The combined weight of the spreader and product must remain within the vehicle manufacturer's limits.

Product suitability: The spreader is designed for free-flowing seed, fertiliser and compatible granules. Wet, sticky, oversized or heavily compacted materials may not feed correctly.

Corrosive fertilisers: Clean the hopper, frame and spreading components after use, particularly when spreading fertiliser or salts. Do not leave fertiliser stored in the hopper between uses.

Electrical connection: Ensure all battery connections are secure and correctly polarised before operation.

Assembly: The spreader is supplied partially assembled. Allow approximately 10 minutes for final assembly and installation before first use.
