Petrol & Diesel Fuel Transfer

This pump is designed for transferring a range of common fuels including unleaded petrol, diesel and kerosene.

The pump features certified explosion-proof construction and is suitable for transferring unleaded petrol, diesel, kerosene and compatible fuels.

This makes it a versatile solution for users who need a portable 12V refuelling system for vehicles, tractors, earthmoving equipment, generators, boats and other machinery.

Note: This pump is not suitable for aviation fuels. The pump body is manufactured from cast steel and may release small rust particles which could potentially block fine aviation fuel filtration systems.

With flow rates up to approximately 75 L/min, this pump provides considerably faster refuelling than many smaller portable 12V fuel pumps.

Designed for Drum Mounting

The pump is particularly well suited to use as a drum-mounted fuel transfer station.

A 2" BSP threaded drum connection allows the pump assembly to be mounted to compatible 205L / 44 gallon style drums and other suitable fuel storage containers.

An adjustable dip tube is supplied, allowing the suction arrangement to be configured to suit the installation.

Automatic Shut-Off Fuel Nozzle

An automatic shut-off nozzle is included with the kit, making vehicle and machinery refuelling easier and helping reduce the risk of overfilling.

The automatic nozzle is particularly useful when regularly refuelling tractors, machinery, vehicles and other equipment.

Fuel Flow Meter Included

The included flow meter allows operators to monitor the quantity of fuel being dispensed.

The meter provides both batch and accumulated fuel measurement and is rated for flow rates up to 150 L/min.

Accuracy is approximately ±1%, making the meter useful for general fuel management and monitoring applications.

Integrated Bypass Valve

An automatic internal bypass valve is incorporated into the pump chamber.

When the dispensing nozzle closes while the pump is still operating, the bypass allows fuel to temporarily recirculate through the pump rather than completely dead-heading the pump against the closed nozzle.

This gives the operator time to move between the pump and the equipment being refuelled before switching the pump off.

Important: Bypass operation should be limited to approximately 2-3 minutes maximum. Extended recirculation can cause the fuel and pump to heat excessively.

Integrated Nozzle Holder & Pump Switch

A nozzle holder is incorporated into the pump assembly to provide convenient storage when the nozzle is not being used.

The pump also features an integrated On/Off lever switch for straightforward operation during refuelling.

Optional Inline Fuel Filter

For installations where additional fuel cleanliness is required, an optional 5 micron inline fuel filter is available.

The filter is suitable for petrol and diesel and is designed for flow rates up to approximately 105 L/min. The optional configuration includes fittings to simplify connection of the filter to the pump.

Optional Power Leads

Heavy duty power leads are also available. These include 2m power cables with alligator clips for convenient connection to a suitable 12V battery.

Operating & Safety Notes

Fuel compatibility: Only transfer fuels and liquids confirmed as compatible with the pump, seals, hose, meter and nozzle.

Aviation fuel: This pump is not recommended for aviation fuel applications.

Bypass operation: Do not leave the pump operating against a closed nozzle for extended periods. Limit internal bypass operation to approximately 2-3 minutes.

Electrical supply: Ensure the 12V electrical supply, wiring and connections are correctly sized for the pump and installation.

Fuel handling: Always follow appropriate procedures for the storage, transfer and dispensing of flammable fuels.
