4009 Caravan Water Pump
Description
Possibly the most commonly used 12V water pump design found in caravans across Australia. These pumps are quiet, reliable and smooth, making them ideal for a range of taps, showers and other camping, caravan and RV related applications.
Model 4009 Water Pump 12V / 55 PSI / 11.3 LPM
These pressure pumps are ideal for installation in tight spaces and run at extremely low noise levels, 50-55 db can be expected. They are very popular for caravan and RV installations and the design is found in many high volume production vans such as Jayco.
These pumps are manufactured to the highest specifications and their simple pump head design makes them extremely reliable in clean water applications. These pumps are fitted with an upgraded Honeywell pressure switch that makes the pumps more reliable than other options in the market.
This is a diaphragm style pump which is suitable for use with drinking water and will provide respectable flow rates for showering.
Each pump has an integrated pressure switch which turns the pump on and off based on demand and changes in pressure. Users can expect the pump to start and water to flow automatically when they open their tap. The pump also features a bypass valve in the design if your application requires this instead of using the incorporated pressure switch.
This is a bolt in replacement for Shurflo 2088 and Shurflo 4009 pumps.
