Description
The GESPASA IRON 45 is an ATEX rated 12V or 24V DC rotary vane fuel transfer pump designed for transferring petrol and diesel. With free-flow rates up to 49L/min, it provides a practical fuel transfer solution for vehicles, machinery, tanks and remote applications where mains power is unavailable.
The pump features an internal bypass valve, thermal protection, integrated ON/OFF switch and a self-priming rotary vane design. An IP55 rated motor and ATEX II 2G Ex db IIA T4 Gb classification make it suitable for compatible fuel transfer applications.

Self-Priming Rotary Vane Pump
The GESPASA IRON 45 uses an eccentric chamber rotary vane design to provide self-priming performance while maintaining useful discharge pressure for fuel transfer applications.
The pump can also operate in either direction, allowing the direction of fuel transfer to be reversed where required.
Internal Bypass Valve
An internal recirculation bypass allows the pump to continue operating for short periods when the discharge nozzle or valve is closed. This is useful during refuelling where an automatic nozzle is used or where there is a short delay between closing the nozzle and switching off the pump.
Important: The pump should not be operated on internal bypass for extended periods. Prolonged bypass operation can increase fuel temperature and may damage pump components and seals.
Integrated ON/OFF Switch
A rotary ON/OFF switch located at the rear of the pump provides convenient local pump control.
