Description
Heavy duty battery isolation switches for automotive, marine, 4WD and other DC electrical systems. Available in single-circuit ON/OFF and dual-battery selector configurations, with continuous current ratings from 220A to 600A depending on the model selected.
Battery Isolation & Dual Battery Switches
Battery isolation switches provide a convenient way to disconnect batteries or high-current electrical circuits when equipment is not in use, during servicing or when electrical isolation is required.
Four models are available, ranging from compact automotive and marine battery switches through to heavy-duty isolation switches suitable for higher-current applications.

SBIS250A – 250A Battery Isolation Switch
A compact ON/OFF battery isolation switch rated to 250A continuous at 12V. Features 10mm connection studs and a removable rotary knob.
SBIS220A – Dual Battery Selector Switch
Designed for dual-battery systems, the SBIS220A provides four selectable positions:
- Battery 1
- Battery 2
- Battery 1 + 2
- OFF
This allows either battery to be selected individually, both batteries to be connected together, or the battery supply to be isolated.
SWIS500A & SWIS500B – Heavy Duty Isolation Switches
For higher-current applications, the SWIS500A and SWIS500B provide continuous current ratings of 500A and 600A at 12V respectively, with substantially higher short-duration current capacity.

Selection: Choose an isolation switch with voltage and continuous/short-duration current ratings appropriate for the electrical system and connected load. Cable and terminals should also be correctly sized for the installation.
