High Flow Chemical Transfer Pump
These pumps are designed for applications where a compact, high-flow DC pump is required to transfer compatible chemicals from drums, tanks or IBC totes. The 500W motor delivers approximately 30-35 L/min, making the pump well suited to unloading and dispensing operations.
The diaphragm pump design separates the pumped liquid from sensitive motor components. Chemical-resistant wetted materials including Viton, Santoprene, PA 6.6 and stainless steel provide compatibility with a broad range of liquids.
Always confirm the chemical compatibility of the fluid with all wetted materials before use.
Designed for AdBlue / DEF Transfer
AdBlue, also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), requires suitable transfer equipment to avoid contamination of the high-purity solution. Materials that are incompatible with AdBlue can corrode and potentially contaminate the fluid.
These pumps use corrosion-resistant wetted components and a diaphragm design that keeps the AdBlue isolated from the motor and other sensitive components.
This makes the pump particularly useful for transferring AdBlue from storage tanks, drums and IBC totes into vehicles, machinery and dispensing systems.
Smooth 5-Chamber Diaphragm Design
The 5-chamber pump head produces a smoother and more consistent discharge than many lower chamber-count diaphragm pumps. This helps reduce pulsation while delivering the high flow rates required for efficient liquid transfer.
The diaphragm design also provides excellent self-priming performance, with a maximum suction lift of approximately 3m.
Automatic Start & Stop Pressure Switch
An integrated pressure switch automatically controls the pump according to demand. When a dispensing nozzle, valve or tap is opened, system pressure drops and the pump starts. Closing the outlet causes pressure to rise until the pump automatically switches off.
The pressure switch is set to approximately 40 PSI / 2.8 Bar, making the pump particularly convenient for dispensing applications where the operator controls flow from a nozzle.
Continuous-Duty DC Motor
Both the 12V and 24V versions use a 500W permanent magnet motor designed for continuous-duty operation. Thermal overload protection provides additional protection against overheating, with automatic restart once operating conditions return to normal.
The DC power supply makes these pumps particularly useful for mobile installations on service vehicles, agricultural equipment, trailers and remote chemical transfer systems where mains power isn't available.

12V or 24V - Which Pump Do I Need?
Both models provide the same nominal flow rate, pressure setting and chemical compatibility. Selection will generally depend on the electrical system available in your vehicle, machinery or installation.
12V SP12VCHEM: Ideal for common 12V vehicle, agricultural and mobile installations. Maximum current draw is approximately 41A.
24V SP24VCHEM: Suited to trucks, heavy machinery and other equipment operating a 24V electrical system. Maximum current draw is approximately 21A.
Ensure wiring, connectors, switches and circuit protection are appropriately sized for the pump's maximum current draw.
Hose & Fittings
The pump uses convenient 1" BSP female inlet and outlet ports, allowing a variety of compatible hose tails, fittings and plumbing components to be installed.
Scintex can also supply fittings and hose suitable for AdBlue / urea transfer applications.
Important Chemical Compatibility Information
While these pumps are suitable for a broad range of liquids, chemical compatibility varies significantly between different products and concentrations.
Always check the fluid's compatibility with the pump's wetted materials before use. Wetted materials include Santoprene, Viton, PA 6.6 and stainless steel.
Do not assume that a pump suitable for one chemical will automatically be suitable for another chemical from the same general category.
