The Paddock Diesel Engine Driven Water Pump range is built for high-volume water transfer, irrigation, farm use, construction and remote pumping applications. With electric key start, recoil backup, removable transport wheels and heavy-duty steel frames, these pumps are designed to be practical in the field and easy to relocate when required.
Choose from high-volume transfer models delivering up to 200,000L/hr, or high-pressure models with discharge heads up to 80m. All models use matched diesel engine and pump combinations for reliable standalone operation without mains power.

Standalone Diesel Pumping for Farms, Irrigation & Construction
The Paddock diesel pump range provides a practical solution where large volumes of water need to be moved without relying on mains electricity.
The pumps are mounted to robust steel frames with removable wheels, making them suitable for either portable use or more permanent installations.
Electric Start with Recoil Backup
All models feature electric key start and are supplied with a 12V starter battery.
A recoil backup starter is also fitted, allowing the engine to be started manually if the battery is discharged.
High-Volume Water Transfer Series
The high-volume models are designed for applications where moving large quantities of water quickly is the priority.
The range includes:
- 2" model: up to 30,000L/hr
- 3" model: up to 60,000L/hr
- 4" model: up to 85,000L/hr
- 6" model: up to 200,000L/hr
Typical applications include farm water transfer, tank filling, irrigation supply, dam transfer and construction-site water movement.
High-Pressure Series
For applications requiring greater discharge pressure or elevation, the Paddock high-pressure range provides heads of up to 80m.
- 2" SWPD050HP: up to 75m head / 30,000L/hr
- 3" SWPD080HP: up to 80m head / 42,000L/hr
- 4" SWPD100HP: up to 50m head / 80,000L/hr
These models are suited to applications such as irrigation, long-distance transfer and other clean-water pumping duties where higher pressure is required.
Portable or Fixed Installation
The steel pump frames include transport wheels for easier movement around farms, yards and job sites.
For fixed installations, the wheels can be removed and the frame secured in position as required.
Choosing the Right Pump
Selecting the correct pump depends on whether your application prioritises flow rate, discharge head or both.
Maximum flow and maximum head occur at different operating points, so the pump should be selected based on the actual system duty, including:
- Required water flow
- Vertical lift
- Pipe or hose length
- Pipe diameter
- Fittings and friction losses
- Suction lift

Important: Maximum flow, maximum head and maximum suction lift are performance limits and do not occur simultaneously. Actual pump output will depend on suction conditions, discharge elevation, hose diameter, hose length and system friction. Always ensure the pump is correctly primed before operation and use a suitable suction strainer and foot valve where required.
