Compact DC Diesel Transfer Pump
These proven gear pumps have been sold by Scintex for many years and provide a simple and dependable solution for a wide range of diesel transfer applications.
The compact design makes the pump easy to incorporate into existing fuel systems where installation space may be limited. It can be used for transferring fuel between tanks, refuelling equipment or as part of a permanently installed diesel transfer system.
The pump is supplied with 3/8" hose barb fittings. Alternative fittings can also be used where different hose sizes are required.
Reversible Fuel Transfer
A useful feature of this pump is its reversible operation. Reversing the electrical polarity changes the direction of rotation of the pump gears, allowing the direction of fuel flow to be reversed.
This makes the pump particularly useful for installations where diesel needs to be transferred in either direction between two tanks.
Brass & Bronze Pump Construction
The pump incorporates a brass casing, bronze gears and stainless steel shaft, providing durable construction for diesel transfer applications.
The brass pump body also makes this model a popular choice for marine and boating installations where a compact DC fuel transfer pump is required.
Self-Priming Gear Pump
The positive displacement gear pump design provides good self-priming performance. With the gears wetted, the pump can achieve a suction lift of up to approximately 4.5m under suitable installation conditions.
For best performance and service life, keep suction pipework as short and unrestricted as practical and ensure all suction-side fittings are airtight.
Diesel Transfer Pump Applications
- Diesel transfer between tanks
- Biodiesel transfer
- Marine and boating fuel systems
- Farm and agricultural equipment
- Workshop fuel transfer
- Mobile diesel transfer systems
- Machinery and equipment refuelling
- Auxiliary and long-range fuel tank systems
Compatible Fluids
This pump is designed for transferring diesel, biodiesel and compatible light fuel oils.
Important: This pump is not suitable for petrol / gasoline or heavy fuel oils. For higher-viscosity oils, select a pump specifically designed for oil transfer.

Installation Recommendations
For reliable operation, it is recommended that the pump is installed with:
- An inline 20A fuse
- A suitable suction strainer or fuel filter
- Correctly sized fuel-compatible hose and fittings
- Airtight connections on the suction side of the pump
Always confirm that the fluid being transferred is compatible with the pump's wetted materials before use.
