Description
The Paddock™ Flexible Shaft Pump Head is a replacement pump head for compatible flexible drive pumping systems used in construction, dewatering, agriculture and general dirty-water applications.
The pump features a 3" BSP female discharge and is supplied fitted with a 2" hose tail. With the supplied 2" hose-tail configuration, the pump has a stated maximum flow of 30m³/hr (500L/min) and maximum discharge head of 15m.
Paddock™ Flexible Shaft Pump Head
This replacement pump head is designed for use with a compatible flexible shaft, drive unit and coupling. Flexible drive pumps provide a practical solution for transferring dirty water and water containing suspended solids, particularly in construction and dewatering applications.
The pump head incorporates a suction screen and has a stated solids-handling capability of up to 25mm particle diameter.

High Solids Handling
The pump head incorporates a suction screen and has a stated capability of handling fluids containing up to 60% solids with particles up to 25mm diameter.
Actual pumping performance will depend on the type, concentration and characteristics of the material being pumped. Fibrous, stringy, highly abrasive or compacting materials may affect performance differently from suspended granular solids.
2" Hose Tail Supplied
The pump body has a 3" BSP female outlet and is supplied with a 2" hose tail fitted, allowing connection to suitable 2" discharge hose.

Maximum flow and maximum discharge head are separate performance points and should not be expected simultaneously. Actual output will vary with the drive unit, shaft arrangement, hose length and diameter, discharge height, fluid characteristics and system restrictions.
Flexible Shaft Connection
The pump head uses a threaded connection with the collar supplied for connection to a compatible flexible drive shaft.
While this is a Paddock™ pump head, it may also suit selected flexible drive systems from other manufacturers. Compatibility should be confirmed from the shaft connection, coupling and operating requirements rather than brand alone.
