European built, the pump uses a self-priming eccentric rotary vane design to provide reliable fuel transfer while maintaining a compact and robust construction. An internal recirculation bypass valve allows the pump to continue operating for short periods when a dispensing nozzle or downstream valve is closed, making it well suited to practical refuelling applications.
The integrated thermal protector helps protect the motor during operation, while the convenient ON/OFF switch provides simple pump control. Supplied with a 3m power cable and featuring rust protection treatment, this is a durable fuel transfer pump for fixed or portable installations where 230VAC power is available.
The GESPASA IRON-45 Ex is a self-priming rotary vane pump designed specifically for fuel transfer. Its explosionproof design makes it suitable for transferring both petrol and diesel, providing a versatile solution for users who require a mains-powered fuel pump.
The pump incorporates an internal bypass valve, allowing fuel to recirculate when the dispensing nozzle or downstream valve is temporarily closed. This is particularly useful during refuelling, where there may be a short delay between closing the nozzle and switching the pump off.
Note: The pump should not be operated for extended periods on the internal bypass. Prolonged bypass operation can cause the recirculating fuel to heat, potentially damaging pump components and seals.
Rotary On/Off Switch located at the back of the pump allows convenient pump control.
