Description

The Paddock™ Honda GX160 Concrete Edging Trowel is a compact 610mm (24") power trowel designed for finishing concrete close to walls, edges, columns and other areas where larger power trowels can be difficult to operate.

Powered by a Honda GX160 4-stroke commercial engine, the edging trowel combines a compact working diameter with heavy-duty construction, adjustable controls and a rotating blade guard designed to allow finishing close to edges and corners.

Designed for professional concrete finishing applications, the Paddock edging trowel provides a compact alternative to larger walk-behind power trowels when working close to walls, around columns and in confined areas.

With a 610mm (24") rotor diameter, the machine can access areas where larger trowels may not be practical. The blade guard rotates independently of the rotor, allowing the machine to work close to edges while helping protect the operator and surrounding surfaces.

Compact 610mm Edging Trowel

The compact 610mm (24") rotor makes this power trowel particularly useful for concrete finishing where access is limited or where operators need to work close to walls and other structures.

Its compact dimensions make it suitable for working through doorways and within confined areas where larger-diameter finishing machines may be difficult to manoeuvre.

Rotating Blade Guard

The blade guard is designed to rotate independently of the trowel rotor. This allows the machine to operate close to walls, edges and corners while the guard provides separation between the rotating blades and surrounding structures.

This design is particularly useful when finishing perimeter areas that can be difficult to reach effectively with a conventional larger power trowel.

Honda GX160 Commercial Engine

Power is supplied by a Honda GX160 163cc 4-stroke commercial petrol engine with recoil starting and a 3.1L fuel tank.

The Honda engine is paired with a heavy-duty gearbox incorporating a pure copper worm gear, Gates belt and UBC bearings.

Operator Controls & Safety

The height-adjustable handle allows the operating position to be configured to suit the user, while the folding design assists with transport and storage.

A dead-man safety shutoff switch is incorporated to stop the machine if operator control is lost.

Honda Edging Trowel Specifications

Before First Use

Important: The engine is stored and transported with only enough oil to keep internal components lubricated. Additional engine oil must be added to the correct level before starting the engine. Check the engine oil level in accordance with the supplied operating instructions before each use.

Some assembly may be required for transport and shipping purposes. Ensure all components, guards and controls are correctly assembled and secured before operation.

Safe Operation

Always inspect the trowel, blades, blade guard, controls and drive components before use. Ensure the work area is clear and keep hands, feet and loose clothing away from rotating components.

Operate the petrol engine only in adequately ventilated areas and follow the supplied Paddock and Honda operating and maintenance instructions.
