Heavy Duty Turf & Lawn Cutting Machines
Paddock™ turf cutters are suitable for everyone from DIY and home gardeners through to professional landscapers, hire companies and commercial operators. The self-propelled design combined with genuine Honda power helps make removing established turf faster and easier, particularly when working across larger areas.
Maintenance is straightforward and can be performed by most mechanically minded users, while servicing can also be carried out through suitable mower and small-engine workshops. Paddock™ stocks a range of replacement parts and service items to help support these machines throughout their working life. Honda GX160 and GX270 engines are widely used commercial engines with parts and service support readily available.
Paddock™ has designed these turf cutters for demanding Australian working conditions. Soft blade engagement through a single hand-operated lever provides smooth operation, while cutting depth is adjusted using a simple rotating handle. This provides adjustment from 0 to 80mm without needing to remove bolts or reposition the blade.
For operators loading the turf cutter onto utes, trailers or other transport vehicles, the machines incorporate load-rated lifting points and tie-down points.
Paddock Honda Turf Cutters are Popular With:
- Hire and rental companies
- Professional landscapers
- Golf courses
- Construction and building trades
- Councils and government organisations
- DIY users
- Home gardeners and acreage owners
Turf Cutter Blades
A range of turf cutter blade widths is available to suit different applications. Blade options include 30cm, 35cm, 40cm, 45cm, 50cm and 60cm.
For the GX160 machine, a maximum blade width of 40cm is recommended. The larger GX270 machine can operate blades up to 60cm wide.
The PTCGX160 turf cutter is supplied fitted with a 300mm blade, while the PTCGX270 is supplied fitted with a 450mm blade. Additional blade sizes can be selected when ordering.
Changing blades is a straightforward procedure requiring only a spanner and typically takes less than five minutes. Replacement blades are supplied with new bolts and poly bushings, with the exception of the 30cm blade which does not require bushings. Turf cutter blades are designed to be sharpened, helping extend their service life before replacement is required.
