Description
Heavy duty automatic retracting hose reels designed for professional workshops, service vehicles and industrial applications. Supplied with fuel and oil resistant NBR hose, these spring retractable reels provide a practical way to store and manage long hose runs while keeping workshop floors organised and reducing trip hazards.

Heavy Duty Spring Retractable Hose Reel
Scintex industrial hose reels are designed to make handling and storing fuel and oil hoses easier, safer and more efficient. The spring-driven mechanism automatically retracts the hose onto the reel after use, eliminating the need to manually coil and store long lengths of hose.
Keeping hoses correctly stored helps protect them from kinking, abrasion, vehicle traffic and general workshop damage. It also helps keep floors clear, improving housekeeping and reducing potential trip hazards.
Industrial Steel Construction
These reels are built for demanding workshop and industrial environments. The heavy gauge steel frame incorporates stiffening ribs and reinforcement to provide rigidity when extending and retracting long lengths of hose.
The reel drum is stamped and reinforced for additional strength, while the steel components are finished with a protective coating to improve corrosion resistance.
The spring mechanism is matched to the specified hose diameter and length of each reel. For this reason, the reel should be operated with the hose specification for which it was designed.
Important: Installing a different hose length or diameter may affect the operation of the retracting mechanism and can void the product warranty. For example, fitting 50m of smaller-diameter hose to a reel designed for 30m is not recommended.
Hose Guide & Mounting Configuration
The 8m and 15m models incorporate heavy duty guide rollers which allow the hose to feed smoothly from the reel in different directions.
The larger 30m and 35m models are designed without the roller guide assembly and instead incorporate additional cross-bracing to provide the rigidity required for the larger reel and longer hose.
The 8m model offers flexible mounting options including wall, floor and ceiling mounting. Always ensure the mounting structure and fasteners are appropriately rated for the weight of the reel and the forces generated during operation.
SAE 100R1 NBR Hose
The reels are supplied with SAE 100R1 hose manufactured using NBR (Nitrile Buna-N Rubber). The hose construction consists of an oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube, wire braid reinforcement and an oil and weather-resistant synthetic rubber outer cover.
This construction makes the hose suitable for a broad range of workshop and industrial fluid-transfer applications including compatible fuels and oils.

Choosing a Hose Reel
SHRNBR08 – 8m x 1":
Compact option for workshops and installations where a shorter hose provides sufficient reach. Features guide rollers and flexible mounting options.
SHRNBR15 – 15m x 1":
A versatile workshop option providing additional reach while retaining the 1" hose diameter and roller guide system.
SHRNBR30 – 30m x 1":
Heavy duty long-reach reel suited to larger workshops, industrial sites and service areas where substantial hose length is required.
SHRNBR35 – 35m x 3/4":
The longest hose option in the range, using a 3/4" hose to provide extended reach for workshop, mobile servicing and industrial applications.
Fuel Transfer Safety: When transferring petrol, diesel or other flammable fuels, the complete installation must be designed to manage static electricity and potential ignition sources. Appropriate bonding, grounding and other applicable fuel-handling safety requirements should be considered. Hose material compatibility alone does not determine whether a complete system is suitable for a particular fuel-transfer application.
