Description
The Paddock™ 3-Point Plug Aerator is a heavy-duty tractor attachment designed to help relieve soil compaction and improve the health of lawns, turf, paddocks and other grassed areas.
Featuring a wide 60" (approx. 1500mm) working width and 66 hollow coring points, the aerator removes small plugs of soil as it travels across the ground. This creates openings in compacted soil, helping air, water and nutrients penetrate deeper into the root zone.

Designed to suit compatible Category 0 and Category I 3-point linkage tractors, the aerator requires no PTO or hydraulic connection, making it a simple and effective attachment for property, turf and grounds maintenance.
Paddock™ 60" Tractor 3 Point Linkage Plug Aerator
Core aeration is an effective way of maintaining established grassed areas where soil has become compacted through regular traffic, machinery, livestock or general use.
Unlike a spike aerator which penetrates the soil without removing material, the Paddock™ Plug Aerator uses hollow coring points to remove plugs from the ground, creating space within the soil profile.
An integrated ballast tray allows additional weight to be added when greater penetration is required, while replaceable coring points help keep the machine performing effectively over its service life.

66 Replaceable Coring Points
The aerator incorporates 66 hollow coring points across its 1500mm working width.
As the implement travels across the ground, the coring points penetrate the surface and remove small soil plugs rather than simply pushing the surrounding soil aside.
The coring points are replaceable, allowing worn components to be replaced to help maintain effective aeration performance over the life of the implement.
Up to 3" Aeration Depth
The coring points provide a stated maximum aeration depth of 3" (approximately 76mm).
Actual penetration will vary depending on soil moisture, compaction, soil composition, ballast and operating conditions.
For best results, the ground should be sufficiently moist to allow the coring points to penetrate and release the soil cleanly, without being excessively wet or waterlogged.
225lb Ballast Tray
An integrated upper tray allows additional ballast to be added to increase downward pressure on the coring points when working in firmer soils.
The tray has a stated maximum capacity of 225lb (approximately 102kg).
This gives the operator the ability to adjust the effective working weight of the implement to suit ground conditions.
Important: Additional ballast increases the total implement weight. Always ensure the tractor's 3-point linkage has adequate lift capacity and remain within the tractor manufacturer's specified operating limits.
Category 0 & Category I 3-Point Linkage
The plug aerator is designed for use with compatible tractors equipped with Category 0 or Category I 3-point linkage systems.
No PTO shaft or hydraulic connection is required. The tractor's linkage is simply used to attach, raise and lower the implement.
Compatibility should be confirmed using the tractor's linkage category, linkage dimensions and lift capacity rather than tractor brand alone, consistent with the compatibility guidance used across the existing Paddock tractor attachment range.
Retractable Support Feet
Retractable support feet allow the aerator to be supported when disconnected from the tractor.
When the aerator is not in operation, these feet help keep the coring points clear of hard surfaces, reducing unnecessary wear and helping make attachment and storage easier.

Safe Operation
Before operation, confirm the tractor and 3-point linkage are suitable for the implement and its total operating weight, including any ballast added to the tray.
Always raise the aerator before making tight turns to prevent excessive sideways loading of the coring points. Avoid operating over underground irrigation, electrical cables, drainage systems or other buried infrastructure.
Take additional care when operating on uneven or sloping ground and always remain within the tractor manufacturer's operating requirements.
