Description
The Paddock™ Excavator Ripper Attachment is designed for breaking up hard and compacted ground, loosening rocky material and working around tree roots and stumps before excavation with a bucket.
Heavy-duty construction and a hardened steel tip make the ripper a useful attachment for demanding excavation, landscaping and property maintenance applications.
Paddock™ Excavator Ripper Attachment
When a standard excavator bucket struggles to penetrate hard or compacted material, the Paddock ripper concentrates the excavator's force through a single hardened tip to help break and loosen the ground.
Once the material has been loosened, a bucket can be used to excavate and remove it more efficiently.

Hard Ground & Rocky Material
The ripper is useful for breaking into hard or compacted ground before excavation with a bucket. Its narrow profile concentrates force through the tip, helping loosen material that may otherwise be difficult to penetrate efficiently with a wider bucket.
It can also be used to loosen rocky ground and work around broken concrete and similar material before removal with an appropriate excavator bucket.
Tree Roots & Stump Removal
For stump-removal work, the ripper can be used to expose and break up surrounding soil and work around accessible roots before further excavation.

Excavator Compatibility
This ripper is designed for Paddock Series 10 and Series 17 excavators. It may also suit other compatible excavators or quick-hitch systems where the attachment dimensions and pin configuration match.
For installation on other machines, confirm the 85mm pin spacing, 92mm internal pin length and 25mm pin diameter against your excavator or quick hitch before ordering.
Important
Before ripping or excavating, identify the location of underground electrical cables, water pipes, gas lines, communications infrastructure and other buried services. Do not use the ripper to intentionally strike or remove underground services.
Inspect the attachment, pins and connection points before operation and ensure the ripper is correctly secured to the excavator.
