Description

The Paddock™ Honda Motorised Drill is a petrol-powered drilling and chiselling tool designed for remote worksites, fencing, construction and masonry applications where mains power is unavailable or impractical. Powered by a genuine Honda GX35 4-stroke engine, the unit provides portable drilling performance without relying on batteries or extension leads.

With standard drilling, hammer drilling and chisel modes, an SDS Max tool connection and up to 25–45J impact force, the drill is suited to demanding concrete, masonry and general site work.

Paddock™ Honda GX35 Engine Powered Drill

The Paddock™ Motorised Drill combines a genuine Honda GX35 petrol engine with a heavy-duty drilling gearbox to provide a self-contained drilling and chiselling solution for worksites without convenient access to electricity.

It is particularly useful for remote fencing, construction, masonry and maintenance applications where portability and continuous operation are important.

Motorised Drill Features

  • Genuine Honda GX35 4-stroke petrol engine
  • Three operating modes: standard drilling, hammer drilling and chisel
  • SDS Max tool connection
  • 25–45J stated impact force
  • 800–2800 impacts per minute
  • Recommended maximum bit size up to 40mm in concrete
  • Recommended maximum bit size up to 50mm in hollow brick
  • Suitable for remote and mains-free applications
  • Heavy-duty gearbox design
  • Approx. 12kg operating weight
  • 1 year warranty

Three Operating Modes

The drill provides three selectable operating modes to suit different applications:

  • Standard Drilling – for suitable drilling applications without hammer action
  • Hammer Drilling – for drilling concrete and masonry with compatible bits
  • Chisel Mode – for compatible chiselling and light demolition work

This makes the unit more versatile than a dedicated rotary hammer or breaker-only tool.

Honda GX35 4-Stroke Power

The drill is powered by a genuine Honda GX35 commercial-series 4-stroke petrol engine.

The engine provides a portable power source for work in locations where mains electricity is unavailable and where repeated battery charging may be impractical.

Honda GX engines are widely supported through service and parts networks in Australia.

SDS Max Tool Connection

The drill uses an SDS Max connection and is specified to suit compatible bits with an approximately 18mm shank.

Always confirm that the selected drill bit, chisel or adaptor is compatible with the tool connection and intended operating mode.

SDS Max to SDS Plus Adaptor Option

A compatible SDS Max to SDS Plus adaptor can be used where required, allowing selected SDS Plus accessories or a suitable drill chuck arrangement to be fitted.

This can broaden the range of applications, including suitable remote drilling tasks such as fencing and agricultural work.

Typical Applications

  • Concrete drilling
  • Masonry drilling
  • Hollow brick drilling
  • Chiselling and light demolition
  • Remote fencing work
  • Farm and agricultural maintenance
  • Construction sites
  • Remote property maintenance
  • Areas without convenient mains power

Initial Setup

The engine is shipped without operating oil and must be filled correctly before first use.

Check the engine oil level and follow the Honda engine instructions before starting the drill.

Operating Considerations

Select the correct drill bit or chisel for the material and operating mode. Do not exceed the recommended bit sizes or use accessories that are not compatible with the SDS Max connection.

Allow the tool to work at its intended speed and impact rate rather than forcing excessive pressure onto the bit.

Use suitable eye, hearing, respiratory and hand protection for the application, particularly when drilling or chiselling concrete and masonry.

Operate the petrol engine only in well-ventilated outdoor areas and keep exhaust gases away from enclosed spaces and occupied work areas.
